"Get out Ryder. If you care even a little for her, you'll get out and give me your gun." Ryder gets out and walks around the truck, until he's standing if front of us.

"Put your gun on the ground." He repeats pushing the gun harder against my head making me whimper in pain, and fear.

"I don't have my gun." He says.

I get pushed to the ground and land in a snowdrift. The older guy checks Ryder for his gun. I get pulled up and shoved in front of Ryder. A pair of handcuffs is thrown at him. "Sorry Kitten." He mouths as he puts the handcuffs on me.

"Get in and lay on the seat." The older guy tells me, pushing me towards the truck. I get in and do as I'm told.

We tried to run and this is what happened. At the very least, I'm dead. Ryder's probably going to get the shit beat out of him. Why'd we even try to run? It was a stupid idea.

I watch as Ryder gets in and lies on the floor with handcuffs on and a gag in his mouth. The door by my head opens and the older guy puts a gag in my mouth.

We start moving, and I'm thrown against the back of the seats. I hear Ryder hit against the seat underneath me, but neither of us make a sound.

When we get back he pushes us inside the house. "Stay here." He says pushing Ryder into a door. "And you in here." He says shoving me into another room. I end up tripping and falling, and by the time I roll over I hear the door lock.

I don't know how long I lay there, but by the time Ryder stumbles in the sun has started to come up.

His hands are still tied, and a gag is still in his mouth. "Next to her." He says pushing him next to me. He falls next to me with his back facing me, and the first thing I notice is how red it is.

Jake's P.O.V.

I attempt to read a book, but my mind keeps wandering to Jess. What happened, did she do anything? If she did, what did she do?

Why did this even happen in the first place? I still don't know why I'm here. I wonder if Jess knows, I bet she doesn't though. There is no possible we were random targets. I know we weren't, or at least I wasn't. I remember what they said, 'Two for the price of one.' They wanted me, but got both of us. That means I dragged Jess into all of this.

What have I done? I mean if they had wanted to hurt the family, wouldn't they have just taken Jess. I mean out of three boys and one girl, wouldn't they have just taken Jess?

Thinking about this is making my head hurt. Why not? That's all I got.

When I wake up in the morning it's not because one of those guys woke me up. It was the sunlight coming through the window. Every other morning I've woken up by one of the men here.

This means I've either woken up early or I haven't gotten my medicine yet. I hope it's just I woke up early. If I've missed my medicine it could be bad. Scratch that, it will be bad.

I get up and look out the window. It's started to snow again. It's been snowing almost the whole time I've been here. I've never really liked snow, and this just adds to my hate.

By the time my door opens, its late afternoon. I've spent the whole day doing nothing, and am currently lying on the bed. I look toward the door and see a man. "Get up." He says. I get up and he grabs me.

He leads me into a hallway and downstairs. "Stop, or I'll kill him." The guy says as we stand in the doorway of a kitchen. I look up to see my dad, and at the same time I feel a gun being pressed against my head.

"Dad?" I ask.

"Shut up!" the guy hisses in my ear. "You stay quiet."

"Now, Mr. Kagan," the other guy says, "Put down the gun down, and we won't hurt you son."

Dad mutters something, but doesn't put the gun down. "Mr. Kagan, we're warning you, put the gun down."

I hear a click, then two gunshots. I get shoved forward and Dad grabs me. I turn around to see Jaxson and another man standing there. Before I can look down Dad turns me around. "Jake are you okay?" he asks.

"Y- yeah." I stutter.

"When is the last time you got your medicine?"

"Yesterday I think."

"Your daughter isn't here Mr. Kagan." The other man says.

"We should get Jake back to the plane." Jaxson says coming behind me.

"Just wait." Dad says. "Houses are far and few around here. I doubt that they'd keep Jessica very far away. Jake, have you seen another house?"

"Yeah, I did," I say. "You could see it from the room I was in."

Jaxson and the man, Mr. Noland as I was told, figured out how to get to the house I saw. I got in the truck with Dad and Jaxson. I hope that Jess in there, and okay.

Ashton's P.O.V.

The next morning we get on the plane and go. It only takes a few hours to get there, but it seems like days. With any luck, this time tomorrow, we'll all be home.

When the plane lands, I stay while Dad, Jaxson, and Mr. Nolan leave. I know that this is going to be a long wait.

After about an hour Cole calls me. "Hey." I say.

"Hey." He says. "So I was thinking about the video calls with Jake and Jess. Thinking about how they were. Jess' was just as long, if not longer than Jake's."

"Yeah, so?"

"So it doesn't make sense that Ella couldn't track Jess', but she could track Jake's."

"What are you trying to say Cole?"

"Well I overheard her talking to someone on the phone. She said how they were coming, not to hurt the kid, and don't let them take the kids."

"So you think that Ella is behind this?"

"Yes, and Mom agrees with me. She tried calling Dad, but he won't answer. "

"Why us?" I mutter, running my hand through my hair.
