Episode 14: Acrisius and Emi

Emi through the ship until she finds a door that leads to a room. She opens the door and enters. She looks around the room. It is fancy, with red curtains on each side of the room, a ladder at the back, and a golden desk and chair in the center. Sitting in the chair is Acrisius. He smiles when he sees Emi.

"Welcome dear Emi," he says to her. "Nice to see you."

"Nice to see you too...not really. I want you to call off your soldiers and leave the Human World forever" Emi tells him.

"Going straight to the point huh? Okay, I'll accept your offer if you'll be my bride." Emi freezes.

'Should I sacrifice myself to save the others?' An image of Shiro appears in her mind. 'I wouldn't be able to see him anymore...'

"I'm not sure" Emi replies.

"You wanted to end this peacefully right? Just accept my offer and your precious friends don't have to die!" Emi growls.

"It didn't have to be this way, Acrisius."

"I agree. If you just continued to follow the queen like a puppy dog, then we would be in a better position. With our combined strength, we could've overthrown the queen and becomes the next rulers of Heaven, but instead you decided to join a group of bugs. Now they will die."

"I didn't know that was your plan, but I couldn't follow the queen anymore. She is a murderous tyrant who threw our world in chaos, but you know you're not much different!" Acrisius laughs.

"I don't care about weaklings. Humans are such weak creatures that they are no better than bugs I can squash with my feet!"

"And that's why I can never love you!" Emi looks away. "Your disregard of life is disgusting. From the year we've worked together, I learned this about you. You are evil, and I will be the one to stop you!" Emi's sheath appears as she glares at Acrisius. He continues to sit and smile at her though. She wields her sword and points it at him.

"Will you not fight?" Emi asks. Acrisius shakes his head.

"Why fight someone who won't kill? It's pretty play." Emi growls.

"If that's what it takes, then I will kill you." Emi's expression is grim. Acrisius chuckles.

"Yes! That's it! I feel your hatred towards me!" Acrisius gets out of his seat and wields his own sword. "I'll entertain your desire to fight. If I win, you'll be mine. If I lose, then you and your friends can leave this ship alive. Do you accept, dear Emi?"

"I guess we're not fighting to the death then?"

"I never said that we were. I just said fighting someone with no will to kill is pointless, but now I see that you're a real opponent, I am ready for combat. Do you accept my terms?"

"Yes, but I will kill you for all of the grief you've caused. Someone like you does not deserve a future!" With that Emi rushes towards Acrisius with her rapier pointing towards him. He stand still and smirks as she gets close. Using his sword, Acrisius blocks Emi's attack by deflecting her sword to the side. Their foreheads touch and they both gaze at each other.

"It's not too late to join me. Why don't we drop our blades now and end the queen together?" Acrisius suggests.

"Well since you made a stupid suggest, I will make one too. Why don't you help the AAWK and together we can end the queen as well as the King of Demons" Emi retorts. Acrisius laughs.

"Like I'd help a bunch of bugs!" Acrisius kicks Emi, sending her flying into the wall. He walks up to her. She cringes in pain. "It hurts huh?" Emi nods slowly. "You know you hurt me too." Emi looks at him in shock.
