Episode 7: Shiro vs. Emi

Emi's eyes grow wide.

"That's right! After they 'peacefully' defeated my weak soldiers, they tracked them down and killed them!" Acrisius tells her.

"They...killed...them..." Emi mutters.

"He's lying! We didn't kill anyone!" Liliana shouts.

"Shut up, worm. Now you know what to do, right Emi?" Acrisius asks. She nods. He smirks.

"Don't listen to him, Emi!" Shiro shouts.

"It's around the corner. Get dressed and come back here" Acrisius tells her. Emi nods and walks around the corner, exiting the bloody path.

"Emi!" Shiro tries to chase after her, but Acrisius blocks his path.

"Where do you think you're going!?" Acrisius grabs Shiro's head and tosses him back towards Liliana.

"Shiro!" She helps him up.

"Looks like everything's in order. You can chase her now, Insect" Acrisius says with his hands in his pockets. Shiro and Liliana growl at him, then run past him to the path Emi took. Around the corner is the camp they destroyed, which is now just a clearing. Emi stands in the middle wearing her corporal uniform, which consists of a tight, pink shirt, a short, white skirt, and metal shoulder pads. Her makeup has been wiped off her face.

"Emi..." Liliana looks at her sadly. Acrisius comes from the path soon after. Shiro glares at him.

"What's going on here!?" Shiro demands.

"You're going to die by Emi's hands, of course" Acrisius replies. He sprouts Angel wings and flies above them.

"Why don't you fight me yourself, coward!?" Shiro shouts. Acrisius's eye twitches from irritation.

"I want to see the look on Emi's face after she kills her 'friends'. It's going to be great. The face she makes after killing anyone is priceless enough." Acrisius laughs. "Plus she's stronger than me in her Angel form. She just has a crappy legendary artifact." Shiro looks at Emi, who is slowly approaching Liliana.

"Emi, you don't have to do this. Let's just team up against  this bastard" Shiro suggests. Emi doesn't reply.

"C'mon Emi, remember all our good times together? I know it's only been two weeks, but I'm glad to have you as a friend," Liliana tells her nervously. When Emi reaches Liliana, her sheath appears. "Don't do this Emi!" Emi draws her sword. Liliana freezes from fear.

"Liliana!" Shiro shouts. He starts running towards her, but a gigantic, golden blade blocks his path. He looks up to see Acrisius wielding his legendary artifact.

"Don't interfere, Insect" he tells Shiro. Shiro growls.

"Emi, please..." Liliana pleads. Emi looks away.

"I'm sorry..." Emi raises her sword and taps Liliana on the head with it, causing her to fall asleep. As her body falls, Emi catches her and lays her gently on the ground. "I don't want you involved with this." Emi focuses her attention on Shiro. Acrisius puts away his legendary artifact and watches from above. Shiro notices Liliana on the ground.

"Liliana!" he calls out.

"She's fine. I just put her to sleep" Emi tells him.

"Thank god, but you're still going to fight me, huh?" Emi nods. "Well, alright then." Shiro's sheath appears at his side.

"One thing before we do..." Emi begins.

"What is it?"

"She needs her Angel Form" Acrisius replies.
