Chapter 2

Tessa's POV (multiple POV's this chapter)

The sun streamed through the windows as I woke up. I gently opened my eyes up to the sight of my royal blue room with red, black, and white detailing. I looked at the clock, which said 8:46 am. I always wake up early. But not as early as Nadine, I thought. I checked Instagram and watched YouTube on my phone for a little bit before I got up at 9:15 and headed out to the shared kitchen.

"Look! Tessa's up!" exclaimed Ethelyn. Ethelyn and I had been friends longer than the others and we had been friends with Hadley for a while, too. Eventually, everyone got up and I went into the kitchen to cook us some eggs and bacon with Caitlyn because we were the only ones trusted not to burn the apartment down while cooking.

After we ate our eggs and bacon we got our swimsuits, cover-ups, and shoes on. I was wearing a royal blue and white bikini with a long red and black tank top over top. And, of course, black athletic flip-flops. Caitlyn was wearing a black one piece suit with a Nike shirt and shorts on top with the same shoes as me. Nadine was wearing a purple one piece with a shawl and sandals. Hadley was in a red tankini with a white summer dress and cute sandals. With Ethelyn she was wearing a black bikini with a black summer dress and black sandals on.

We all got in my red Corvette and drove off to hang at the pool.

Paden's POV

"Hey guys! Let's go hang at the pool!" I said to Connor, Edmund, Cambell, and Sagan. The guys all agreed and we quickly got into our swimsuits and headed off to the pool in my blue Corvette. Once we pulled into the parking lot, I parked next to this nice red Corvette. It looked funny seeing them together. They looked like twins with suttle differences. "Be careful!" I shouted, "You never know what cute girl this might belong to!" We all smirked at each other because we knew we had pretty much no chance with girls and knew even if we did get one, that we would end up bringing up our past in Washington and that would scare them away.

As soon as we walked into the pool, Connor, Cambell, and I went straight over to the diving board, while Edmund and Sagan went over to the wave pool.
