Chapter 8

Tessa's POV (multiple again this chapter)

Once all of us had said goodbye to the guys it was about 7:30 pm and our groups split our separate ways and promised to see each other again soon. In the car I decided to tell the girls the big news.

"Guess what?!?!?!" Ethelyn, Hadley, Caitlyn, and I all said at the same time.

"WHAT?!?!?!" Nadine offered back.

"I'll go first." I said. "Paden asked me out today. I think we will go to the trampoline park nearby and hang out this Friday."

"No way! Cambell asked me out to a movie this Friday!" Ethelyn said excitedly.

"Same with Connor except we are going to the park to shoot some baskets." Caitlyn said soon after.

"Really? Edmund and I are going to a casual dinner on Friday!" Hadley said finally.

"Well you know what? I have absolutely no plans and especially no plans with Sagan." Nadine said madly after we had all spoken. I felt bad for her and knew that the girls and I and maybe even the guys were going to do everything possible to grant her wish of hanging out with Sagan.

"I'll call Paden and tell him as a joke to get Sagan to meet you at that library close to our apartment. Then you'll be able to hang out with him." I finally said after thinking for a little bit.

Later that night...

"Hey Paden it's Tessa, I think we should get Sagan and Nadine together at that library close to us this Friday when the rest of our friends and us will be out on our own... adventures... or dates or whatever." I said into my phone when the girls and I were in our own rooms away from each other.

"Yeah that would be funny and good at the same time." He said back.

"Okay. I guess just say that we are all meeting there for a summer project we just found out about. I'll tell Nadine the same thing." I said. He agreed and we both said goodnight so we could watch YouTube and go to sleep. I also started mentally planning tomorrow which I thought it would be good to go shopping with the girls for our dates. We had all agreed on a wake up time of 9:30 am for everyday so we would all get enough sleep and be ready for whatever we would do the next day.

Nadine's POV

This is probably bad but I was listening in on Tessa's conversation with Paden last night and I was so happy with her and just wanted to barge in and hug her which I know would have ended in a scolding from her on how she loved me spying for her, but not on her. It had happened once before and although she normally isn't mean, you would not want to get on her bad side. I wondered what I would wear and then realized that I would need to go shopping for new clothes if I was to meet the beautiful Sagan at the library in two days. Everyone else was in their rooms going to bed so I decided that I would too and that when Tessa told me tomorrow about the plan, I would act surprised and happy when really I would just be a big ball of nerves just waiting to embarrass myself in front of a very smart guy who would make fun of me forever afterward.
