Chapter 10

Nadine's POV (multiple again)

As soon as we came to the right store I knew I was going to love shopping today. I was looking for a top, a bottom, and maybe even shoes.

"What are you guys looking for?" I asked Hadley and Ethelyn.

"I am looking for a pretty crop top and shorts and maybe shoes. I'm not sure if I need new shoes. What about you Hadley?" Ethelyn said.

"I am looking for a dressy shirt and jeans. Maybe some jewelry but I already have shoes. Nadine?" Hadley said.

"I am looking for a top, bottom, and maybe shoes but I am not sure what exactly I am looking for." I told them. It was true too. What do you wear to a library date?  I asked myself. I was sure that I would figure out what I would get while shopping.

            Hadley's POV

I knew I wanted a dressy and flowery top and jeans but I didn't know what else. I probably won't get any more jewelry because I already have some and I don't wear it that often.

"Maybe I'll skip on the shoes." Nadine and Ethelyn both said.

"That's probably good considering how many pairs of shoes you both have. I was thinking I might skip on the jewelry and just go with a top and jeans." I said in response. We all laughed thinking about how many pairs of shoes they had and how much jewelry I had. We all stayed together when looking for clothes because of how paranoid we are about being alone since Maine. Pushing that thought out of my mind, I started looking at tops. I found one that I really liked that had flower petals fading out from the top.

"Oh that's so pretty!" Ethelyn said from behind me. It scared me so I turned around and almost hit her with the shirt. We both died of laughter because of how often this happens.

Ethelyn's POV

I immediately looked over at the grey crop tops and saw the one that I wanted. I paired it with a pair of black jean shorts.

"You pick out such cute clothes, Ethelyn!!!" Nadine said. I knew she was there but it still surprised me a little bit.

"What did you pick out, Nadine?" I said back to her. I was interested because she always wears such cute clothes and I had never gone shopping with her.

"Oh! I picked out a plain royal blue shirt with black jeans." Nadine told me.

"Boring as always I see. I bet Sagan will like that." I said with a smirk forming on my face. Just as I said that, Tessa and Caitlyn came and found us and we checked out with our clothes. We all walked out to Tessa's car and headed back to the apartment relax and talk excitedly about our dates before going to bed.
