Fresh Starts

Chapter 9

                 

Ethelyn's POV (multiple this chapter)

I woke up at 8:30. Just an hour shy of our group wake up that we have set in place. I wondered what we were going to do today. I bet Tessa has a plan. She always has a plan. Ooh!!! Maybe we could all go shopping for our dates! Poor Nadine would just be there supporting us, probably being sad because she doesn't have a date. I walked out to our living room and saw Tessa and Caitlyn chilling on the couch having a conversation. I walked over to them and said "Hey guys. What'cha talkin' about?"

"Oh, I was just telling Caitlyn about the plans I made last night for us. Would you like to hear?" Tessa said.

"OBVIOUSLY!!!" I said back to her.

"Okay. So since we all have dates I thought how about going shopping? And I know what you are thinking, what about Nadine? Well, I have already thought about that. I got Paden to get Sagan to the library close to us and we will get Nadine there, and they will hang out while the rest of us are on our dates." Tessa told me.

"Yay Tessa for always having a plan!!!" I said back to her. I told you, she always has a plan. I bet she even knew how we were going to split up to buy clothes. So I decided to ask her, "How are we going to split up to buy clothes?"

As usual, she had an answer with "Caitlyn and I will go to the more sporty stores for about two hours while you, Hadley, and Nadine will go to the other stores to get nicer casual clothes because your dates are all at someplace nicer than Caitlyn and I's. Then we will meet up in the food court for some food and go home to chill for an evening before our big days tomorrow."

"That sounds great!" Said Nadine. I hadn't even realized she was there and, evidently, Tessa hadn't either judging by the surprised look on her face. I saw Hadley standing behind her too nodding and Tessa and Caitlyn noticed her shortly after I did.

"I guess that settled then. Tessa, lets\'s go make breakfast so we can get ready to go to the mall." Caitlyn said.

Two hours later...

Caitlyn's POV

As soon as Tessa and I had split up with the girls I was excited because Tessa was the one I was most like in the group. She was athletic like me and knew how I felt about everything because she felt almost the same way. "So Tessa, what do you think you will get?" I asked her.

"I'm looking for some new running shorts that I can wear to the trampoline park and maybe a new Nike shirt. What about you?" She said back.

"I'm looking for pretty much the same as you but maybe instead of running shorts I might get Under Armor shorts and an Under Armor shirt because you know I like Under Armor more than Nike." I told her.

"Oh! Maybe I will get a new headband and shoes, too!" She exclaimed. She looked very excited as we went over to the Nike outlet that was combined with the Under Armor outlet. Both of us loved to go there and we were soon absorbed in our shopping trip and finding and buying things that we both liked.
