Chapter 14

Tessa's POV

Back at the apartment after all the dates...

"So guys how were each of your dates?" I asked truly interested.

"WELL MINE WAS AMAZING AND I AM SO HAPPY THAT I GOT TO GO ON IT BECAUSE IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!" Ethelyn said excitedly.

"Mine was pretty uneventful. I found out that Edmund is best friends with Paden as always." Hadley explained.

"I beat Connor at HORSE four times and he only beat me twice." Caitlyn said happily.

"Mine was awful! Sagan threw a book at my face and we started to have an argument before a librarian came over and had to shush us into a glaring match that I think I won by the way." Nadine said.

"That sucks Nadine, but my date was amazing. I really like Paden and I hope he asks me out soon or I might make the first move. I just really hope he likes me back." I said.

"Oh trust me, he does. I see the way he looks at you. He really likes you and I hope he makes the first move sometime soon." Nadine said reassuringly. Ethelyn agreed right away and the rest of the girls did too.

"Maybe we should invite them over to hang out one of these nights." Caitlyn suggested.

"I think that's a great idea. What about tomorrow night?" I asked the rest of the group. A chorus of yes's came out of the group.

"Do you want me to call Paden, put him on speakerphone, and ask him to get the guys around so we can ask them?" I asked.

"YESYESYESYESYESYESYES." Ethelyn said in her usual happy tone.

Rrrrriiinnnnggg. Rrrrriiiinnnnnggggg. "Hello?"

"Hi Paden! It's Tessa and the girls. Are the guys around you?"

"Yeah they are. You and the girls are on speaker now. Why?"

"We were wondering if you and the guys wanted to come hang with us in our apartment tomorrow night."

"Yeah sure. The guys and I are down for that. What time should we meet you?"

"Um maybe 5? Caitlyn and I can cook dinner for all of us and then you guys can go home whenever you feel like it."

"Okay. That sounds good. We'll be there and yes Sagan, you are coming too. We will drag him over if we have to." I laughed a little bit.

"Okay. See you then!" I said cheerfully as I hung up the phone. "I guess that is settled. Now we just have to figure out what we are going to do."

"What about a game night? We can have lot's of games where we play in pairs and even some like truth or dare and confession." Caitlyn said.

"I think that is an awesome idea!" I said back and the rest quickly agreed. But then was the problem of what we wanted to have for dinner.

"I can make a mean, plain burger and we can have a burger bar type thing with sides that Caitlyn and I cook."

"OOOH YUMMY!" exclaimed Ethelyn.

"I guess it's settled then. I'm going to bed and we can get up a little earlier tomorrow morning to start working on getting the apartment ready for the guys. I'll see you guys in the morning." I told the girls. We all said goodnight and went into our separate room still buzzing with excitement about the next day.
