Fresh Starts

Chapter 3

Caitlyn's POV

Once we got to the pool, Tessa, Ethelyn, and I went to the diving board to work on some dives and just have some fun. Nadine and Hadley wanted to be lazy so they headed over to the wave pool.

"Look at THEM!" Tessa exclaimed as three guys walked around the corner. "Get them to watch this!" she said to us as she stepped up to the diving board.

"Tessa! Don't do anything too crazy!" I yelled as a way to get the guys to look at her. It didn't take long for them to watch. She did look pretty good from a friends point of view with her long golden brown hair tied up into a high ponytail and the swimsuit complimenting her athletic figure and tan skin. Once she was on the diving board, she executed a perfect full off dive and Ethelyn and I clapped, as did the guys. Tessa climbed out of the pool and walked over to us.

"That was amazing and I bet you could get one of them off of just that dive." Said Ethelyn. "Just don't take the tallest one with blonde hair because he is mine. I call him."

"Oh I won't. And Caitlyn I won't take the one with brown hair because I can see how you look at him." Tessa said. I thought about what she said for a moment and realized that the one she mentioned was kind of cute. Just as I was thinking about it the guys came over and introduced themselves.

I'm Paden, this is Connor, and this is Cambell." Said the one who's name was Paden.

"Ok. I'm Tessa, this is Caitlyn, and this is Ethelyn." Spoke Tessa right afterward. Tessa and Paden clicked right then, Ethelyn and Cambell clicked as well, and Connor and I were pretty cool with each other.

"Do you guys want to hang with us for the rest of the day today?" asked Tessa. (If you haven't noticed Tessa and Ethelyn are the boldest of our group and tend to do most of the talking.)

"Why not?" said Paden.

I heard Ethelyn whisper in my ear "They could so be a power couple if they wanted to." I have to say, she is right. And they are cute together so that's a plus. We headed to the wave pool to see what Hadley and Nadine were up to with the guys each talking to one of us.
