So I just started reading Stereotypical and its... Right up my alley!
It's bit the cynical shy girl and a guy with the delicious combination of both bad boy and fuck boy. They have some sort of a love-hate relationship - but it's more of a relationship of mutual dislike than anything. Do I like it? Yeah, I do. It's a bit different but still has the nice feeling of cliché familiarity.
I really like the main character, she isn't a pushover or a doormat. In fact, she even "bet her boobs [he'd] catch AIDS before eighteen." I absolutely love the arguing/bantering between them.
Plot twist? Insert 'bet' here. Don't let the idea of typical Wattpad 'bet' scenarios scare you off, because it's in a completely different context. The author write in her preface that this book is for those who think they need to change the mess,vets for someone else (or something along those lines). So you don't need to prepare yourself, for disappointment- because it's obvious the girl isn't going to change for the bad boy, will the bad boy change for the girl? Who knows, the book isn't finished yet. But like I always say, sometimes the best things take longer to complete.
The writing is most certainly of a high standard. The authors obviously has a good sense of humour, so don't worry about that department. There's a bit of swearing, but this is Wattpad anyway, right? Thumbs up for structure and format! I also absolutely love the chapter titles - I always read them after I've read the chapter. They always make sense and are just perfect - I can't even begin to describe how well thought they are!
