One of the reasons why I love this book is because it moves past the initial bad boy meets good girl stage.

Everything met up to my expectations; the plot, pace, language, characters and their development. Well, at least for majority of the book.
I have to admit, that while the book started on a great foot, the second half was a bit dragged out. But... I really did enjoy reading it, which really should be the only thing that matters at the end of the day - or in other words, personal experience.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was not only one love story going on, but also a second one in the same book! I just love how the author incorporates a story about first love and juxtaposes it with a story about second chances. Professionally, it's a bit messy, but I think breaking the boundaries of writing is the very essence of Wattpad and what it's all about.

The fact that this book is New Adult also opens up its audience and invites all ages to read it. Not only that, but it also means that more mature vocabulary and expression is used more often - which is great in terms of literacy and reading for younger generations (like me). Despite being a sucker for Young Adult, I couldn't helped but be sucked into this story too. Although, I often do forget that they are college students, not adults. Perhaps more elements of realism would help in that aspect?

When it comes down to it, I find that Chasing Red is overall more of a adult romance that a bad boy book - despite the original title of Bad Boy In Love. I just felt that it was more of a sweet love between a former play boy (because the title bad boy doesn't suit him) and a girl with trust issues.
