From the moment I joined Wattpad till today, I have seen The Bad Boy's Girl countless of times on the What's Hot recommendations. Never have I actually opened it up and bothered to read it - That is, until @SimpleBrownEyes  requested me to write a review on it mentioning something about childhood sweethearts.

Why have I not read this before?!

The character dynamics were exactly the way they were meant to be. Cole and Tessa have the perfect chemistry of typical teenage problems, first loves and a dash of childhood 'hate'. I can't even begin to describe the perfect transformation in making Cole turn from 'childhood tormented' to 'bad boy guardian angel'. So, childhood love? Big fat tick for the well developed history and character interactions.

And no, the 'supporting characters' are more than just supporting characters. They all have backgrounds and personal stories that affect not only themselves, but also the main character. This goes to show how much the author puts into her story - that she doesn't just add 'friends' or characters for the sake of it.

Can I just say, I am totally unsurprised the book became so popular after the sixth chapter? I mean, I read the A/N and it is literally crazy. It's obvious the author puts so much effort into the story and that she doesn't write to get votes, but rather, out of passion.

The writing is great, it's not perfect but so is life. There are small grammatical errors, but there are far and few in between. But honestly, the lengthy chapters make up for it.

So if you're looking for laughs, cute childhood love and a hot bad boy, go ahead and try the book.
