Part 20

Suga's POV:

All of us are up, well except for Jin. Nam Joon told us to leave him alone. Jin stayed up late last night to wait for Claire. Their date last night was perfect.. I wish that was me.. But now it's too late. I just have to be happy for her now and stay friends. I walk into the kitchen and I see Claire making herself breakfast. She's humming a song, swaying a bit, and giggles every once in a while. I guess the date went great. "Morning Claire." "Oh. Morning Suga." She smiles again, grabs her breakfast, and goes to the table. "I guess the date went really well last night," Jimin whispers to me. "Yeah." I've never seen her this happy before. I sit across from her, but she doesn't notice me. I guess her mind is still stuck on last night. Jin finally walks out and he stops when he see's Claire. Nam Joon pats his shoulder and whispers something to him. What happened last night when Claire got back? "So Claire, how was your date last night?," Tae asks. "It was great V, we ate ramen for dinner, went to the park, rode paddle boats, and then we danced." "Anything else happen?" "Yeah," she smiles big and touches her lips. Everyone stares at her shocked but she doesn't notice. "Come on everyone, we need to get ready and go to work. Especially you Claire, I know you're getting busier now." "No problem RapMon."

I walk out of the practice room, soon we'll be ready for Claire to film our new routine and upload it. "Hey Yoon Gi." I look up and see Mark. Why is he here? "Hey Mark, what's up?" "I'm here to see Claire." I look over him, and notice that he's holding a rose. "Um, she's somewhere. I'll help you find her." "Thanks." He follows me and I look in the different rooms, she has to be here somewhere. I open one door and I see her working hard on paper work. She looks up at me, "oh. Hi Suga." "Someone is here to see you." "Who?" I step aside and let Mark walk in. 

Mark's POV:
I walk in and smile big at her. "Thanks for taking me to her Yoon Gi." "Not a problem." He leaves us alone and I walk up to her. I can't get her off of my mind. Last night keeps replaying. "What are you doing here Mark?" "I think it's only fair that I come to your company to see you, instead of you always coming to my company to see me." "That's so sweet of you." She stands up and I give her a tight hug. "What's the rose for?" I let out a deep breath, hold one of her hands and she looks up at me with a questionable look. "Mark?" "I can't get you off of my mind Claire. You're all I think about. I don't want to do just dates. I want to do more. I want to be more. Will you be my girlfriend?" She stares up at me shocked, her mouth hanging open. "Claire?" "I'm just surprised. I can't get you off of my mind either." "Really?" Hearing that makes me really happy. I hold up the rose in front of her, "so is that a yes?" I give her my big cute eyes and pout cutely and she giggles. "That's a yes." She reaches out for the rose but I quickly hold it up. "What are you doing?" "There's one way I want you to take it." I hold the rose between my teeth and she laughs. I hold her waist and pull her close. "You're so funny Mark." 

She takes the rose and smells it. "So when should our next date be?" "I have to check my schedule." "I understand. But are you at least free later tonight. I can't wait to be with you again." "I get off around 7, is that okay?" "That's perfect, you can come to my dorm for the first time." "Y-your d-dorm?" "Don't worry Claire, I won't pressure you into anything." She lets out a sigh and I kiss forehead. "You don't ever have to worry with me, I care about you to much." "I believe you." "Can I have a kiss before I leave? I'll pick you up at your place around 8." "Yes, and that works for me." I smile at that and gently kiss her. I love the feeling I get when I kiss her. I slowly pull away and I see that her lips are puckered, which means she wants more. I chuckle at that and kiss her cheek. "Don't worry, we can kiss more tonight." She blushes and I hug her tightly. "I'll see you tonight."

Jungkook's POV:

I see Mark walk out of a room, "hey. What are you doing here?" He's smiling and rubs the back of his neck. "I came by to see Claire." "Why?" "I couldn't wait. I had to confess to her." "You.. You confessed to her?" He nods and smiles even more. "What did she say?" "She said yes. And we have plans tonight for her to come over to my dorm for the first time. I promise I won't pressure her into anything. I never want to hurt her. I have to go, I need to make sure my place is clean and that the guys won't barge in on us. Bye!" He runs off, I don't know what to think. I see Claire walk, she's holding a rose and is smiling at it. I stand still and she walks towards me. She bumps into me and looks up. "Oh, sorry Jungkook." "Where'd you get the rose?" "Mark," she giggles. I need to be happy for her. Mark is her first boyfriend and she's been nothing but smiles since this morning. My heart is beating hard, I want to scream, I want to hit something, I want to kick and pull my hair. Now I understand Jin. I fake a smile, "so are you two dating now?" "Yeah, he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes." Hearing those words is breaking my heart. It's like I'm hearing glass shattering. "Well, I'll let you get back to work." "Thanks Jungkook."

"I can't believe it," Tae whispers. J-Hope groans and pulls on his hair. I found everyone and got them to meet in the studio so we can talk. "I already knew," Jin whispers. "She told me he kiss-" "You don't have to say it Jin. It's okay." "But now they're officially dating," Jimin says. "Yeah," we all say in unison. "What do we do now?" "I don't know about you all, but I'm giving up," Tae speaks up. "What?" "She's with Mark now. We all took to long. The best thing for me to do is give up and try to forget about her." "What are you saying Tae?" "That I'm done trying to win her over. She's dating Mark and she's happy. And I'm going to be happy for her. That's all I can do now. Just be her friend." Tae leaves, "I agree with him," J-Hope mumbles and leaves too. "Suga? Jin?" "I can't forget about her," Jin mumbles. "Suga?" "It's not that easy for me... I've been with her since the first day and that's how long I've liked her." They leave, leaving me alone with Nam Joon and Jimin. "Jungkook?" I let out a sigh and run my hand through my hair. "I'm with Tae and J-Hope. I need to try to forget about her, but I'll still be friends with her. I get why Suga and Jin are still holding on, but I can't. She's with Mark now. I have to give up."

I never thought that I would say those words. I never thought that either of us would say those words. But I have to. I'm giving up.
