Part 24

Mark's POV:

"Mark. We need to talk," I hear JB say. "Yeah?" "It's about Claire." "Why do we need to talk about Claire?" We just finished dance rehearsal and all I want to do is go meet Claire. "Look, Yoon Gi told me how he's been feeling on 4th of July. About you two. And it reminded me of what your original plan was with Claire." "Things changed." "We know. But we also think it's not fair to Yoon Gi and Jin. Your original plan was to take Claire out on a date, and leave it at that." "Things changed though." "It's not right what you're doing Mark," Jackson snaps. I can't believe this. I really care about Claire, I want to be with her. "It's not my fault that the guys were to slow. If they wanted to be with her, they should've done it before I came in. They should've been smarter and knew someone else was bound to come in." "So you don't even care that this is hurting them," JB snaps. They start yelling at me, I form a fist, that's it! "Yes I know my original plan was to just ask Claire out to get the guys to ask her out sooner! But I don't care! Things changed!!" We hear a door open and something drop. I look over and see Claire staring at me, I can tell she's about to cry. "Claire." "I came by to surprise you," her voice cracks. 

She runs out of the room, "Claire!!" I see that she had dropped a container I think is filled with food. "Claire! Stop!" I run out, and thank god for my long legs, I'm able to run faster than her. I see her, "Claire! Please stop!" I finally reach and grab her hand. "Claire please listen to me." She tries to pull her hand away but I keep my hold. "Claire-" "Just tell me this," I can tell she's crying but she's not showing me her face. "Did you actually like me when you asked me out." I bite my lower lip and look down. "Please say something," she whispers. I think back to how I felt. The original plan was for me to take her out, so that the guys would come in. But that didn't happen and I quickly got feelings for her. "Claire, the thing is-" "Please let go of me," she mumbles. I let go and she runs off. I slowly make my way back to the studio, when I get there I see the container on the floor still. I pick it up and open it, inside are my favorite cookies. My hands start shaking and I shut my eyes tightly. "Man, we're sorry but-" "This is all your guy's fault!!!," I yell and drop the container. I run over to them and punch Jackson in the face. 

"Mark!!," Youngjae yells. I punch JB in the face as well. "What the hell dude!!," JB yells. Bambam holds me back, meanwhile JB and Jackson are glaring at me. "This is all your fault!! Now my relationship is over! I promised her one thing! That I would never hurt her! And I did just that!," I start crying and let out a yell. I start going doing, Bambam lets go of me and I drop to the floor. I pull on my hair and just cry. I hear the guys walk out and I lay on the floor. "I'm sorry Claire. I did the one thing I promised to never do to you," I cry out.

Suga's POV:

I hear the door slam open and closed and I look out of my bedroom. I see Claire run in and she throws her stuff down. "Claire." She's crying and breathing hard. "Claire!" I run over to her and try to hold her but she pushes me away. She drops to her knees and starts pulling on her hair. "Claire, Claire please stop." I kneel down by her and try to grab her wrists but she keeps pushing me away. "Claire please stop." I hear the guys run out and I look up at them worried. Nam Joon kneels down and tries to help me. "Claire, please stop," he tells her gently. "Claire, please look at me," I tell her. She lets out a scream and slaps me. I stare at her shocked. She holds herself tightly, she won't stop screaming and crying. "Um. I think I know what happened," J-Hope speaks up. "What?" He shows me his phone, Jackson texted him that Mark and Claire had broken up. "I'm going to kick his ass," Jin mumbles. Claire lays down in a ball and continues to cry and breathe hard. This is the worse panic attack that I've ever seen. "How are we supposed to calm her down?" "I remember one thing she told me," I mumble and find her phone. I scroll through her music and start playing it. 

I set the phone near her, its takes a couple of songs, but she finally calms down and I hear her whisper along. We all let out a sigh of relief, "I'll stay with her," I tell them. "Are you sure?" "Yeah." The guys walk out and I carefully move Claire so that her head is resting in my lap. I run my hands through her hair and hum to the music. "I trusted him Suga, I trusted him," she cries. "I know, don't beat yourself up over it." "I trusted him," she whispers.

"You're lucky that Claire is asleep right now," I snap at Mark. Jin and are the most angry at him. "I should kick your ass for causing Claire to have a panic attack," Jin snaps. "She had a panic attack!? Please, let me see her." "I don't think she wants to see you Mark," I snap. "Now fucking explain what happened." He lets out a deep sigh and rubs the back of his neck. "When I first met Claire, and heard that guys all liked her, but also heard that you were all going slow. I wanted to push you guys a bit. I had a plan to take her out on one date, and so that would push one of guys to finally step and tell her how you feel. It was supposed to help one of you out. But as time grew, even before I asked her out, something changed. I cared about her. I wanted to be around her more. And our date changed my mind. I realized how much I liked her." "So you wanted to ask her out, even though you didn't like her at the time," Jin snaps. "I know. I'm a horrible person for doing that. I shouldn't have thought about playing her heart like that. But I really do like her guys." "I don't think it matters now because it seems like your relationship is over." "I know.. I just wish I can talk to her..." "Lets put it this way, if you're the cause of her panic attack, we're not letting you see her or talk to her for a long time." 

Jin pushes Mark back and I grab the back of Jin's shirt. "I don't blame you guys for hating me. But you guys do know you have to do something now, right?" "What's that?" "I know she over heard talking about you guys." "What do you mean?" "I mean, you two need to tell her how you feel." Jin and I look at each other. Can we really do this?
