Part 36

Mark's POV:

"Is he-" "He's coming!," JB whispers loudly and runs away from the door. Claire quickly gets into my lap and I wrap my arms around her. I rest my chin on her shoulder and we all just act as normal as we can. I see him out of the corner of my eye and tickle her a bit to make her laugh. "Mark stop," she smiles at me. I smile back and keep tickling her. "Okay you two, tone it down a bit when we're in the room," Youngjae speaks up. We hear the door open, "Mark? Can I talk to you real quick?" "Sure." Claire gets off me and I walk out with him. "What is it sir?" "I just want an update if Claire will be switching over." "She said she'll think about it." "Good good... That's good to hear.. Well, try to see if you can get her to say yes." "Will do." "You're doing a great job Mark." He smiles at me, pats my shoulder, which makes me cringe, and he walks away. I quickly go back in the room and let out a huge breath. "What is it?" "Just checking if I convinced Claire. Told him what we came up with and he seemed fine with it. But he wants me to get you to say yes." "Which isn't part of the plan." I sit down by her, "well at least it's working. He doesn't suspect a thing yet." "Do you think our CEO knows about him?" "Who knows, but there has to be a reason why that guy is here." 

"Maybe we should talk to the CEO?" "I been thinking about that as well, I just have one problem with that." "What's that?" "We don't know the business relationship between them." "That's true..." "I just want to go back to BigHit," Claire groans and leans against me. "Manager knows what we're doing, and it's why he agreed to this. But I rather be working." "I take that as an offence," Jackson puts his hand on his chest and does a dramatic shocked face. "Are you saying you don't want to hang out with us?" "Well after work hours is what I mean," she quickly says and looks down. Jackson crawls over and puts his face in front of hers. "Hey." She jumps and stares at him. "Why are you so close!?" He puckers his lips and she leans back. "Come on Jackson, stop teasing the poor girl," JB speaks up. He keeps leaning and this causes her to fall onto her back. "Jackson!" "I'm only kidding!" "But I am well aware of how much you kiss the guys!" She pushes on his chest and he gets off her. "Then can I please kiss you?" "No way!" "Come on Jackson, leave my girl alone," I finally speak up.

"Your pretend girlfriend, keep that in mind." "I haven't forgotten." "So Claire, I'm curious. What's your relationship like with Suga?," Bambam speaks up. "My relationship..?" "Yeah." "You know we're dating. Why are you asking?" "Oh you know, couple stuff-" JB slams his hand on Bambam's mouth. "Ever since you turned legal, you don't shut up." "And just don't stop," we say in unison. "What?," Claire asks innocently and looks up at me confused. "It's nothing." "Oh come on," Bambam groans. "NO," we yell this time. "I was also curious about something else." "If it's dirty Bambam, you're not asking." "It's not. We all know you were a fan of us before we met Claire. Who was your bias?" She blushes and covers her face. "Ooooh, now I want to know," Jackson says. "Who is it?" "Actually, I am curious Claire. Who was it?" She keeps her face covered and points at me. I smile down at her and pull her close. "Well that worked out didn't it." "Bias wrecker?," Bambam asks. "Aish," Yugyeom says. "Someone stop this kid." "What! I'm just curious!" "I just figured it out this year," she mumbles. "Okay, now you have to tell us." She mumbles something, "what is that?" "Bambam!," she yells and hides her face on my chest. Bambam quickly stands up and does a few hip thrusts. "THIS KID," we yell in unison.

Suga's POV:

Claire finally comes home, "hi Min Yoon Gi." "Hi Claire." She lets out a huge sigh and plops down on the couch. "What's wrong?" "Oh you know, had to fake my relationship with Mark all day. And the guys embarrassing me." "How did they embarrass you?" "I don't wanna talk about it.." I sit next to her and pull her close. She rests her head on my shoulder and sighs, "I hope we can figure this out soon Suga. It just feels wrong faking a relationship with Mark, while I'm with you." "It's okay. You can do this." "You think I can?" "Yeah, I know you can." She smiles up at me and I gently kiss her. She hums a bit and I pull away. "Why did you hum?" "I just love your kisses," she blushes. "Aw, well I love yours too."

"You think this will be okay?," I whisper to JB. "I'm sure it is." JB knocks on the door and it soon opens, JYP's CEO answering the door. "Ah, hello JB. And Min Yoon Gi. Haven't seen you in a while. Do you need me for something JB?" "Yes sir, I want to talk to you about something." "Okay, please come in." He lets us in and we take a seat in front of his desk. "What is it that you need to talk about?" "Is there... A guy... Who secretly runs this company..." "If you're talking about me than yes." "I'm not talking about you." He looks at JB with a questioning look. "What are you talking about JB?" "Do you know of a guy who secretly hires people with wrong ways." He stares at us and shakes his head. "CEO?" "It's just. Well. The thing is..." "Yes sir?" "The thing is, I fired that guy a long time ago." "Wait, what?" "He was using forceful ways to hire people and I did not agree to it. So I fired him." "Sir, I think he's still around and you don't know it." "How is that possible?" "Maybe it's because you've never seen him." "But I know all of the employees here." "Maybe you don't. Maybe this guy stuck around and you didn't know it." He looks so confused... "We have to go find him JB. Thank you sir." We finally have something on this guy.

Mark's POV:

The guards push me up against the wall and I watch them hold Claire down to a chair. "I knew you were faking it! How did you snap out of it!!" "I'll never tell you," I snap at him. "At first, I thought everything was fine. But as time went on, I remembered how two acted when you were dating. And how you acted after I hypnotized you. I did the math and figured it out that you had somehow snapped out of it!" "W-what are you going to do?," Claire asks scared. "You, you're going to sign this contract and switch over." "But-" "But if you show me that you actually haven't snapped out of it, than I won't force you." "Claire. Don't." "Just because Mark snapped out of it, doesn't mean you have Claire." She looks up at me, "Mark." She gulps and stands up. She walks over to me and the guy smiles. "Claire. Don't do this. You don't have to do this." "I'm scared Mark," she mouths. The guys force me down a bit so that she could be eye level with me. "Claire. You don't want to do this." But she's scared of what's going to happen if he forces her to sign the contract... She closes her eyes and leans in slowly. She lightly presses her lips to mine and I hear a door slam open.

"That's enough Mr. Kim," I hear Min Yoon Gi snap. Claire quickly pulls away and runs up to him. "What did you just call me?" "Hello Mr. Kim," I hear the CEO say and he walks in. The guards let go of me and I go over to the CEO. "What exactly are you doing here?" "Nothing of your business." "It is my business when you are threatening my employees. I fired you a long time ago, what exactly are you doing here, and how did you hide from me for so long?" "This company is partially mine! I want to make this company great! And if that makes making that girl join us than so be it!" "You'll never get near this girl again," CEO snaps and stands in front of her. "When I first asked Claire to come here for meetings, I was in the middle of a hiring process. I saw the positive effects she made for BigHit, that I was thinking of hiring someone from the U.S. or the U.K. as well." "That's why you kept asking me to come sir?" He smiles at her, "yes. I had no attention in taking you away from BigHit. That's where you belong." "Thank you sir.." "You need her here!!" "No I don't! And as for you, I better not catch you around here ever again! I will ask of my employees to keep an eye out for you just in case. You will no longer be part of JYP, just like how it should have been. Security, get him out of here." 

Security takes him away and he screams down the hall. Claire lets out a huge breath and leans against Min Yoon Gi. "I'm so sorry about all of this Claire. If there is anything that I can do, please tell me." "You've done exactly what we wanted sir. For all of this to stop." She wraps her arms around Min Yoon Gi, "thank you so much." "Min Yoon Gi, I also saw the hate that came out about you two. I apologize for that." "It's fine sir. I'm sure with him no longer around, we can actually enjoy our relationship." "I'm glad to hear that, well Claire. I know you're only here for the summer, please don't be shy and come by anytime you want." He walks out and we all let out big sighs. "Finally over," I mumble. "Summer..." "What is it Claire?" "Summer... It's almost over.." Crap...
