Part 33

Mark's POV:
"Hi Mark," Claire smiles up at me and wraps her arms around my waist. It's really hard being like this. I know it's not real of what she's feeling. But Min Yoon Gi and I have came into an agreement to give her some time before we tell her the truth. This didn't affect her friendship with the guys though, which is good, so she's still close with Yoon Gi. But of course, it's not the same anymore. This whole thing feels like a lie, but I promised him that I would keep her happy and safe. I smile down at her, "hey Claire. What are you doing here?" "I wanted to come and surprise you!" "Well you sure did." I lean down and give her a light kiss. This kiss feels like a lie. Everything about this is a lie. For some reason she's not so shy about kissing like she used to. I wonder what that guy told her... I stand up straight and rest my hands on her waist. I'm trying to not be to touchy for Yoon Gi, but she just... I look up and see the guy smiling at us. "Excuse me Claire, I'll be right back." "Okay." The guy walks out and I follow him. He walks into a room and I go in. "Tell me what exactly happened when you hypnotized her. She's not herself." "Of course she's not herself." "I mean, she's not herself of when we dated. She's not shy. What did you do?" "I wanted to give you a girlfriend that was up to your level." "My level?" "Admit it Mark, you must have been a bit frustrated with how she acted so innocent." 

"H-how do you know about that?" "You really asking me that?" "Right... Anyway, no. I wasn't. I respected and cared about her. I was her first boyfriend, and I knew she had to experience. That didn't bother me. I wanted her to feel comfortable with me." "Interesting.." "But what exactly did you do?"

Guy's Past POV:

I pull the chair out for her and she sits down. "A company meal, thank you sir." I smile down at her, "it's no problem. Tell me Claire, do you plan on switching to here one day?" "Well, you see sir. I only planned on being here till the end of my summer semester." "Semester?" "Yes, I'm a college student and I'm off for the summer. Once it ends, I have to go back for fall semester." Crap... I have to find a way to make her stay.. "But I appreciate the offer. But I'm going to be honest sir, if I stayed past summer, I would stay with BigHit." "Why BigHit?" "BTS is the reason why I have a job there, and I feel like I would be betraying them if I switched companies." "I understand." Shit I have to do something... Ah ha. How could I forget this trick? I use it on people who aren't willing to work here or leave. I pull out my pocket watch, pull a chair up to her, and sit down. "What are you doing?" "Just follow the watch and listen to what I say." "Uh..." I slowly swing the watch in front of her eyes and her eyes follow it. "Just listen to my voice." She slowly nods and doesn't take her eyes off the watch. 

"You will go into a deep sleep, you'll only wake up when you here Mark's voice. When you do wake up, you'll act as if you have been drugged. The only way you'll feel normal again is if Mark kisses you, no one else. And when you do feel normal again, you'll think that you are in a relationship with Mark still. You will not remember what happened in the past. Also, you will no longer be shy with him, you'll be more willing, but you'll act cute and lovey. Do you understand?" She slowly nods, "I understand," she mumbles. I smile to myself. Perfect. No loop hole. She can't get out of this. I've already asked to much of her, so I have to get Mark to convince her to stay past summer and switch over. I'm sure I can. "When I count to three, you'll fall into the deep sleep. One. Two. Three." She goes to sleep, falls forward, and I catch her. I start laughing, "such a good girl."

Mark's POV:
I stare at him shocked and he's just laughing. "I can't believe you did that..." "I'll do whatever it takes to get who I want. And if that means hypnotizing your ex-girlfriend to be with you again, then so be it." "I'll tell her the truth." "Good luck with that. Didn't you hear me? There's no loop hole. She won't believe you no matter how hard you try." "Just watch me." "By the way Mark, you either convince her to switch over, or I will come for you next." "What!?" "Those are your choices. I'll hypnotize you to make her stay. And since you're being a pain in my ass, I'll also hypnotize you to no longer act like this." "What do you mean by that!?" "That I'll erase your memory of your break up!" I slowly back away from him, "no. I-I won't let you do that. I don't want a fake relationship." "Trust me, it won't feel fake." "I don't care!" I walk out and slam the door closed. What am I going to do!?

"What do you mean he threatened you!?," Yoon Gi yells over the phone. "He said if I don't convince her to switch over, that he'll make me." "Make you!?" "Hypnotize me! He'll erase my memory of our break up, and that he'll make me convince her to switch over! He literally has no loop hole!" "That's, it, you're coming over tonight and we're telling her the truth." "He said she won't believe us." "We have to try! I want her back Mark, really back. This all feels like a lie and I hate it. And it just hurts all over again." "Okay.. We can try.." "Thanks.." I hang up and pull on my hair a bit. "What's wrong Mark?," Junior asks. "I'm in some deep shit Junior." "What do you mean?" "Did JB tell you what happened?" "Yeah, he told all of us so that we wouldn't question you and Claire." "Okay... Well. That guy. He told me I either convince Claire to switch over, or he'll hypnotize me to do it." "Shit.. What are you going to do?" "I'm going over to BTS place tonight and we're going to tell her the truth. I just hope she'll believe us, because it doesn't sound like there's a loop hole." "There better be a damn loop hole. Good luck." "Thanks." I really hope this works.
