Hermoinie ran her finger along the spines of all the books on the highest shelf she could reach. Noramlly, she was used to muggle libaries and to her they were fantastic. So much to learn and so much to see. She loved them. But Hogwarts libary just took it to a new level.

She came to the end of shelves and began to look at the next, the pile of books next to her bag on one of the nearby tables getting higher and higher by the minute.

She began doing the same routine down the next row, but was hastily stopped when she hit something hard with her side. She turned to see the girl from the train who beat up Draco Malfoy.

"Sorry." Hermoine said quickly, her eyes grew in fear of this girl and her demented red eyes, but when she turned to face Hermoinie, her eyes seemed calm and a loving warm orange colour to match her radiant smile and brown hair, which was clearly natural, but looking so silky just laid over her shoulder in perfect waved.

"It's ok." She laughed, smiling at Hermoine with great interest. She pulled a book of the shelf and handed it to her. Hermoine turned the book carefully onto it's front to read the title: Hogwarts a History by Bathilda Bagshot.

"Thank You." Hermoine squeaked, turning the pages with the lightest touch, treating the book like a delicate flower.

"What's your name again?" The scary girl asked.

"Hermoine Granger." She said, starting to feel a little more comfterble now and softening up a little. "Yours?"

"Rosie Gryffindor." She said, smiling. "You seem like a smart girl, how come they didn't put you in Ravenclaw?"

"The hat did consider it.." Hermoinie said. "But I'm glad I got put in Gryffinor because I've made some good friends."

"Ron and Harry am I right?" Rosie said as they walked over to Hermoines book tower and sat down.

"Yes." Hermoinie said. "I'm glad I didn't go to muggle school. I got picked on a lot."

"My dad sent me to muggle school to learn the basics." Rosie said, rolling her eyes. "Or that's what he said anyway. Most of us get sent, just in case we're squibs."

"That makes sense." Hermoinie said. "You're quite close with the Weasley's aren't you?"

"Yes I suppose so." Rosie nodded. "Why do you ask?"

"Well it's quite I like.." Hermoinie started. "Nevermind..."

"One of the twins?" Rosie asked, smiling.

"Oh no!" Hermoinie said, suddenly glowing really red. "No, it doesn't matter."

"Fair enough." Rosie said. "Here it is!"

She grabbed the book about famous animagus and then left, waving goodbye to Hermoinie as she went. Rosie liked Hermoinie for some reason.
