"We have successful transformed once!" said Dumbledore excitedly as Rosie had taken her form for the first time, even thought it was only for a split second.
Her full form was a fish, which was quite unusual because peoples animagus' were usually the same as their patronus', but Rosie's patronus was a fish'
Rosie slouched down on the chair, feeling drained after her attempt. She shut her eyes and tried to transform again, but all she could do was make a small horn form in her forehead.
"I think this lesson has been a great success." Dumbledore said, smiling and taking a seat on the other side of his desk opposite Rosie. "We'll take a break there."
Rosie nodded reluctantly as Fawkes flew onto her shoulder and pecked at her ear. She let out an enormous yawn, which made the horn on her forhead flash back in her head.
"A break?" Rosie said in between her yawn, before rubbing her eyes. She really couldn't be bothered today and wanted nothing more than to clamber into bed and sleep.
"Yes Rosetta." Dumbledore said as he sat back on his chair and grinned at Rosie. "There is a tale that I think you'd be quite interested in."
"Go on then." She said, yawning.
"Someone else has fallen across the mirror you found on your first year." He said, his bright eyes turning off, as if someone had found a switch.
"Are you joking?" She whispered, her mind flashing back to the day she looked in that mirror and saw her family, future and past. "Who?"
"Mr Potter." He said, in an even more hushed voice than Rosetta. "The object seemed to have more a positive impact on him than it did with yourself..."
"Take it away Dumbledore." Rosie said, cutting Dumbledore short and breathing heavily. "That thing should not be in this school."
"As you wish." And with that he disappeared from the room.
Rosie sat in the same position in Dumbledore's study for a while, maybe hoping that he'd come back, but half an hour later she knew that wasn't going to happen, and made her way down to the great hall to join the others at breakfast.
She didn't know why the thought of her little cousin looking into that mirror that's plauged her nightmares for the past few years, and as she walked into the hall to see Harry chatting away to Ron, she smiled, knowing that he was safe now reassured her and also reminded her of the fact that she needed to tell him who she was.
