*WARNING: SOME SWEAR WORDS*
"Charlotte, how would you like to spend the day with us?" The girl who's called Chrissie asked, as she flashes a sweet smile. "YEEEEESSSSSSS!" Charlotte shrieks, jumping up and down. "You too Taylor! I'm sure you can keep Garrett some company." She winked, lowering her voice so only I could hear. But apparently not low enough because John, who happened to be an earshot away chuckled, "He's got an eye for pretty girls like you, wish I could've spotted you first." I blushed and did my awkward sheepish smile. I mean boys hit on me all the time, (not to sound so self conceded, it's just true,) but never before have I been hit on by an attractive (and ripped) celebrity. "Thank you for the offer Chrissie, but I really don't want to intrude you and your friends. I'm sure Char and I can make it on our own," I say, taking Charlotte's hand, but she doesn't budge. "I want to stay with Chrissie and Mollee," she cries, running into the arms of Mollee, who was the gorgeous blonde girl pointing at her earlier. I was appalled; did she really just take advantage of my authority? Before I can have a go, Garrett steps in between us. "I'll keep Taylor company, she's going to need a big strong guy like me to protect her anyway. " He smiles, turning around to see the expression on my face : unimpressed.
"What are you doing?" I ask Garrett as we start walking the opposite direction from Charlotte and the rest of the group. "Well if you're that curious, I'm walking to the food stand."
"I don't want to play any games, Garrett. Why am I walking with you, a stranger, instead of my little sister?"
"I just thought you could have some fun!"
"Gee thanks Oprah! Glad you know my needs," I say sarcastically. Who does he think he is, acting like he's my hero? Okay so he was good, great*, looking, but I guess you can't judge a book by it's cover. "What's up your ass?" He asks, nudging me.
"You."
"Oh c'mon, don't be like that."
"Be like what? A bitch? "
"No...a cute bitch." He shrugged, hoping to see my face light up, but instead it just made me more angry. I don't know how I feel about this guy. One minute he's giving me goosebumps (the real good kind) and the next he's making me want to strangle myself. "Don't call me cute."
"Aright alright!" He says, sticking his hands up in the air. "Have you had sarsaparilla?" He asks, breaking the awkward silence.
"You mean SASS-SPARILLA? I love it."
"Is that why you're so sassy?"
"Haha you're funny." I say, not laughing.
"Don't call me funny."
"Are you mocking me?"
Wrapping his arm around my neck, practically putting me in a headlock, he moans, "Oh Garrett, I lo-" His high pitched, suppose to be me, voice was cut off by two young girls, around age 10. "You're Tanner from Teen Beach Movie!" The blonde one says, holding her piece of paper and pen. I shuffle to the side, hoping to go unnoticed. When the other blonde girl and I make eye contact, I once again, sheepishly smile (what a surprise.) She walks over to me and asks, "Can I get your autograph?"
"Me? I think you got the wrong idea. I'm not from Teen Beach Movie."
"But aren't you Garrett's girlfriend?"
Surprised, I didn't know how to respond. Garrett overhears and says "She's just a friend." I smile, he smiles, the girl smiles, and then the OTHER blonde girl comes over and smiles at me, "I think you guys would make such a cute couple, you're very gorgeous!"
Garrett grins, "I think so too."
