Daku and her men camped outside the half burned village.
"We need some building supplies and food for the citizens." Daku thought.
"Lieutenant." Daku called a younger bright eyed sandy haired boy.
"Yes general?" The young lieutenant ran over.
"Get a message to princess Rebecca telling her we need food for the civilians and supplies to start rebuilding Kisel." Daku ordered.
"Yes ma'am" the young lieutenant scurried off to his horse and headed for the castle.
"Ok that's taken care of now to check in on the civies and the wounded."Daku walked over to the camp the people were staying at, until their homes rebuilt at least. They were doing ok as you could expect and had food to last a week, so they would be ok until the food came.
But the infirmary was a different story.
Most of her men were badly injured, mostly burns from battling the flame.
The doctors assured her most of them would be fine, others they could not be sure yet.
Daku sighed and hoped for the best, though it wasn't in her nature to do so.
"Life in the field." She told herself, "life in the field."
