The Queen gave out many medals that day. Many for valor and bravery but she only gave out two Jusith medals,the highest medal the Queen could give,and those went to Leroy and Daku for bravery,keen leadership,a clear head in the mist of war,and valor beyond anything the Queen had seen. Of course there was a party through out Estria and their allies from the north were invited to celebrate their collective victory.
It was a huge party and I mean huge the entire castle was filled with banners from the different armies that participated, the great hall was filled wall to wall with tables and tables of food,the ball room and throne room were filled with soldiers and nobles alike.
The Queen stood to give a speech,and the room became silent as she rose.
"Citizens,Soldiers and nobles,generals, dukes, and gentry,we are here because we've beaten another army that threatened to overtake our kingdom. They have not prevailed! All of you strong whether it was in the battle field,in the courtroom, or staring down disaster in your villages and cities,you handled this war masterfully. We may be battle worn and scarred but we are stronger then ever! No threat will prevail as long as we stay united as we are. We will rebuild and Estria will be one hundred times stronger then it has ever been!"
The whole room shouted "hear hear" and joyful cries and claps filled the hall with noise.
The Queen sat down and they all went back to the party with their hearts inspired and full. The feast lasted a week,and at the end of the feast Laila and Kimu stood and said, "We want to sing a song to celebrate our victory."
The Queen smiled and replied, "we'd be honored to hear your song princess Laila and princess Kimu."
They rose and stood in front of the fireplace and everyone was silent.
The girls sang in perfect harmony,
We sing of swords raised and shields shattered
Fires burned and extinguished
We sing of the strength of men
And the wisdom of women
We sing of the war of Estria
Where piksas rose to burn it down in flames
The citizens and noble stood that day
Against the flames and monsters they fought
All stood united against the evil that threatened them
And their light prevailed
A light so bright no darkness could ever extinguish it
Let all hear of the strength of Estria and her sisters of the north
And how their strength will not fail.
Everyone clapped and some even cried at the beauty of their voices. The girls curtsied and sat back down in their seats. Their father and mother smiled at them proudly.
"It was perfect girls." Queen Majikku smiled.
"Thank you aunt Majikku." Kimu chirped happily.
"Let us end the feast on that happy note and all go home to our rest. It is well deserved." Queen Majikku said formally.
Everyone scattered and went home,except the nobility from the north who were staying at the castle for a little while longer to prepare to go home. The war and the feast were at an end.
