"I think we should give him a deserved burial, I mean he got this far." You reasoned as people nodded, someone checked the dead man for any useful supplies he might have hidden.

After attempting to dig into the ground with your hands and a few shells that were on the ground, you gave up. You'd tried to take the time to bury the poor man, however Harry had started to protest saying that it was taking too much time and you're loosing the light.

"We could burn him?" One of the men had some matches in his bag and suggested. Everyone nodded and he handed one to you, you looked at the match before at the dead body in front of you. Not knowing if you could do it.

Harry must have seen that you didn't know if you could burn the body, so he took the match from your slightly shaking hand and you gave him a small thankful smile.

He struck it and threw it onto the body, it went up in flames and after a minute of paying respects, the air began to smell of rotten flesh badly.

"It's time to go." Harry told everyone as people gathered their bags and began to walk into the heat once more. You had a heavy heart as you walked, thinking about why the man died and who would be next. You walked towards the city for a more few hours but still didn't seem to be getting any closer, like a glimmering piece of hope on the horizon that taunted you.

It was starting to get dark so you all stop to look around for somewhere to sleep, after a while you found a few options.

Do you:

Sleep in a load of abandoned cars you find (38)

Sleep under the ridge of a giant rock (43)

Or sleep out in the open in a makeshift camp (47)
