You nod in agreement and push off into a jog to keep up with the rest of the group, your rucksack making thumping sounds as the contents are shook about as you run next to Harry.
You don't focus on anything but running as you exit the old building through a small back door. As you take in your surroundings, you regicide the place slightly.
It's a common area for gangs to roam and the place that everyone else knows to avoid, you swallowed hard and kept running in fear of being left behind in this region.
The sun hung low in the sky giving it a slight pink tint yet the air is still thick with dust and it's reflected in the grey clouds that are scattered in the sky.
Sirens from behind you go off which startle you as you hear shouts, signalling that they are getting closer.
Overhead a helicopter is circling the area with a bright search light that's scanning the ground inches from where you're running. Most people manage to dodge the deadly light like you, however a few get caught in its beam which reveals them to them.
You keep running without looking back as you hear a small cry, followed by a spray of bullets. You try and swallow your fears, but in the end you gave up as you realised that it was fuelling your adrenaline.
Harry leads you towards a set of buildings, however he takes a sharp turn at the last minute and runs head on into a pitch black tunnel. You grab a torch that is strapped to the side of the rucksack and follow without hesitation, in fear of being left behind to either be killed or tortured.
Although everyone had a light, they did little except bounce off the rounded tunnel walls as the small beams weren't powerful at all. You huffed and panted as the terrifying thought of being shot and killed urged you to run on, despite the end of the tunnel not being in sight.
After a while of running, you hear sounds coming from behind you. Not the harsh breathing or sound of footsteps hitting the floor in an irregular beat, but shouts of orders followed by the click of guns.
You heard the word fire and gasped in fear as a wall of bullets hit the people at the back of our group.
Do you:
Carry on running as fast as you can (14)
Or jump to the side of the tunnel and stay pressed against the wall to blend in (22)
