A Team Rocket Story (Name in Progress)

Chapter 4

We drove into a nearby city and parked out bikes behind one of the tall buildings. "So what's this mission of yours, Tessie?"

We stood behind a wall and looked around the corner, "You see that kid over there? The one going into that shop?" The kid I was talking about was most likely a new trainer. He had a small Bulbasaur following behind him.

James nodded, "Yeah, what about him."

"We're going into that shop. It's a small items shop, as well as a Pokemon daycare. We're going to go in there and stealing the Pokemon inside." I pulled a couple fake IDs out of my pocket and handed James one. "Use this if they ask for any identification. The plan is, you're going to ask to leave your Meowth," I looked at Meowth, riding on James shoulder again, "At the daycare for a few hours. While you do this I'll be sneaking into the back." I then gave him an earpiece.

"What's this for?" He asked and put it in.

"I'll feed you messages through this." I told him as I put one in my ear, "It should be easy since it's only run by an old man and a few volunteers. If anything goes wrong I need you to use this." I handed him a smoke grenade, "Just pull the pin and throw it somewhere in the room, then get out and back here as fast as you can."

"But what if something happens to you?" Meowth asked.

I laughed, "You're worried about Me? Nothing will happen to me. Let's go."

We quickly put our disguises over our uniforms and began the operation. I brought Ditto out and had him transform into a Jigglypuff, so James and I both looked like two regular Trainers.

"Hello and Welcome!" The old man greeted warmly.

We both smiled, "Hi there!"

"Anything I can do for you today, Trainers?"

James took to his part, "Yes, we'd like to leave these Pokemon here. A Meowth and a Jigglypuff." As he continued to talk to the man and distract him, I slowly walked away as if I were going to look at the items his store carries. I stealthily found my way to the back, where all the Pokemon were being held and started. There were all kinds of small Pokemon back here. Babies, full grown, adolescents, all kinds.

"I'm in. No ones around." I said into a small microphone in my bracelet.

"Copy." James said.

"Leave Meowth and Ditto, then get out. Bring my motorcycle out to the back of the building and open the cage, alright?"

"I'm on it." I heard James tell the man his thanks, meaning I had to hide before he came in to put Meowth and Ditto in with the other Pokemon.

I hid behind some bags of Pokemon food and waited. The man brought the two Pokemon in, told them to have fun and left. "Alrighty now what?" Meowth asked Ditto as he turned back to normal.

I came out from my hiding place, "Meowth, Just as soon as I get word from James, start communicating with the Pokemon, and tell them I'm a new worker here. Tell them I'm going to be cleaning the entire place out and I'd like them to move outside."

"Roger that!" Meowth said.

I returned Ditto back to his poke'ball and that just about when I got a message from James, "I'm at the Back door, the cage is in place."

"Alright. Now I want you to wait out there. I'll have the Pokemon in the cage in a minute."

"Okay, I'm waiting. I brought my bike as well."

"Good." I turned to Meowth, "Alright, your turn."

Meowth nodded and started working on telling the Pokemon, who I was and what I was going to do. I greeted them myself and led them to the back door where they all, easily walked into the cage, and fell into our trap. I shut the cage and suddenly all the Pokemon started to panic.

"Alright, now we just need to get out of here-"

"Hey! Who are you?!" Suddenly one of the volunteer worker girls decided to show up, "Let go of those Pokemon!"

James stepped beside me, "You know the motto don't you?" I asked him with a smirk, "Prepare for trouble!"

"And Make it Double!" James smiled.

"To protect the world from devastation,"

"To unite the people's within out nation,"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love;"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Tessie!"

"James!"

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light;"

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"

Meowth then jumped in front of us, "Meowth, that's right!"

The girl pulled out a poke'ball of her own, "Togetic! Help me out!"

I frowned, "Damn it I was hoping to get out free today... Whatever!' I yanked a poke'ball off my belt, "Let's go Luxray!" Luxray came out of the poke'ball, and roared. Electric sparks flew around him.

"Togetic, tackle the Luxray and get to cage!" It's owner yelled. The Togetic then came charging at us.

"Luxray!" I yelled and it knew exactly what to do, it used its Roar attack and blew the Pokemon and trainer back into the wall with a loud lions Roar. Now was our chance, "Alright let's go! Return Luxray!" Luxray came back to his poke'ball, and James, Meowth, and I made it out in time. We got to our bikes and started riding out of the city. The Pokemon behind us continued to cry out, "That was great you guys! You two actually didn't fail!"

James rode his bike next to mine, "We didn't fail for once!"

"And look at all these Pokemon you two helped me steal!" I pointed to the cage behind me, "I'm proud of you two rookies!"

Meowth spoke this time, "Doing the motto was fun too! I kinda thought we wouldn't do it, now that Jessie's got a new partner.."

I shook my head, "All teams of Team Rocket are supposed to do some sort of motto when caught in the act of stealing Pokemon." I sighed, "Houston used to think it was stupid so we never did it."

Meowth and James both smiled, "Maybe you aren't so scary after all!" Meowth laughed.
