A Team Rocket Story (Name in Progress)

Chapter 6

I sighed and shrugged, "Sure, why not, let's go outside." We walked outside, to one of the battle grounds, and for some reason, just being outside gathered a crowd to watch us. I guess everyone just wanted to watch me battle. The other Rocket Grunts stood around us as James and I got ready for the battle, "Alright, since I gave you four new Pokemon, I'll only use four of mine! We fight until all four Pokemon are unable to battle, Sound like a deal?"

James nodded and pulled out a poke'ball, "Deal!" He threw the poke'ball out onto the field and yelled, "Get out here and fight, Gabite!"

Gabite came out of the poke'ball, hyped as ever, "Gabiiiiiitteee!" He growled.

"Go, Persian!" I yelled and Persian came out of her poke'ball with a low growl. Half of everyone who was watching made a sound of awe after noticing this was the bosses Persian, "Gabite!" I yelled to it, "Go all out okay?"

Gabite nodded, "Gab-ite!"

James smiled, "Alright, Gabite, use Sand attack!" At that, Gabite used the fins on his arms and kicked up lots of sand and threw it at Persian.

"Persian, Switcheroo!" I yelled and with amazing speed, Persian ran behind Gabite and switched places with him. Instead of Persian being hit by the sand, Gabite was hit.

"Gabite!" James yelled, "Shake off the sand and use Dig!" Gabite dug a deep hole and went underground.

"Persian, Double Team! Confuse Gabite!" Persian started running around the battlefield creating false images of herself.

James was becoming confused as well, "Gabite be careful when you come up!" Gabite stayed underground while James thought of a plan, "Gabite, stay underground and use Sandstorm!" Gabite used its move sandstorm to kick up as much sand as possible which started to make the ground of the battlefield become uneven. Suddenly Persian tripped and lost her balance, "There Gabite!" James yelled and Gabite soon found Persian and hit her as he came out of the ground.

Persian flew across the field, but landed on her feet. Just by looking at her, she was getting tired already. "Persian, use Retaliate, then Swift!" Persian quickly made its way over to Gabite and hit him with the same force caused by its dig attack. Then Persian hit Gabite with a hard swift attack and came back to me. Gabite lay on the ground, defeated after the attack faded.

James pulled Gabite's poke'ball out and returned him to it, "You did, great." He told it as he pulled another poke'ball out and threw it, "Let's go, Rapidash!"
Rapidash came out of the poke'ball this time.

"Persian, Return for now, you did great." I told her and she came back into her poke'ball without hesitation, "Luxray, time to play!" I yelled and Luxray practically pounced out of his poke'ball, "Rapidash, all out, okay?" Rapidash nodded in response.

Meowth laughed from the sidelines by James, "She rhymes when she calls her Pokemon out too, James!"

James smiled with a roll of his eyes, "Okay Rapidash! Extreme Speed!" Rapidash suddenly started running straight for Luxray at high speed.

"Luxray, use roar and blow Rapidash back!" Luxray did as he was told and roared. Rapidash was blown back, mid-run and was brought back to where she was originally standing.

"Rapidash, Flame Charge!" James yelled, whipping his arm out as well. Rapidash started charging at Luxray with flames blaring as if it were one big fireball.

"Luxray, Move!" I yelled but I was too late, Luxray was hit and pushed to the ground, "Luxray?! Are you okay?" Luxray stood up and growled in response. He looked okay enough, "Okay, Luxray! Use Iron Tail!"

Luxray ran at Rapidash and jumped readying its iron tail move but suddenly, James yelled, "Now! Horn Attack!" Rapidash jumped up and nailed Luxray in the chest with her horn.
