With their owner gone at last, Max who was now lying down stood up on his four legs and said.

'Now then, I would like to discuss some final words with each of you as you three continue to complete your assignments with the Army'.

'Yes my Lord' Blue, Daisy and Buck said as they lowered their heads in respect. In case it hasn't caught on yet, these four wolf hybrids aren't just normal wolf hybrids, Max or better formally known as Elven King Thranduil was retiring from his days in the US Army K-9 unit and would soon head back to Mirkwood to his wife Aniu who had to stay behind shortly after leaving his side 5 years ago during their last mission to return to Mirkwood since their kingdom didn't have an official Beta and their current Delta Feren could only do so much at a time since he was still in his Delta training.

Thranduil turned to Daisy or better known as Tauriel first, Tauriel stood up and into downward dog position as Thranduil told her.

'Tauriel. While you have won the position as Delta in this pack, never forget that you are the Daughter of a Beta wolf. Jackie will need your help in guiding her in the ways of being a Beta. Both she and Quinn are young and only have had a little taste to what war is truly like when only kept in our chosen dog forms. Protect them no matter what'.

'You have my word my Lord, I promise I won't let Quinn and Jackie die while I'm still standing'. Thranduil nodded then turned to Buck's aka Quinn's pen.

Quinn was lying down on his stomach but lowered his head in respect for the Elven King who gave him his home and allowed him to become one of his own kin when Quinn had lost his.

'Quinn Van Turpin. Though you are still an Elfling, you've shown the prowess of a true warrior. Your current form is built more strongly than Jackie's and Tauriel's combined. They'll need your strength to help them fight against the enemy and to protect them from any threat that comes your way'.

'That's a promise I know I can keep. Jackie helped me reclaim my right to the throne, and Tauriel healed me when I was near death in your woods when Jackie found me. I owe them both that much and would do anything to repay their dept for saving my life'.

'Aww Quinn I didn't know you cared that much about us'. Blue aka Jackie teased.

'Of course Frost, besides you're gonna need a big strong male wolf like me to protect you ladies from danger'. Tauriel and Jackie laughed as Tauriel joked out.

'Please gypsy wolf. In case you hadn't been paying attention back home in Mirkwood I'm the best warrior in all of our kingdom. I even train the soldiers before war'.

'That is true, she's a real badass Quinn, don't you remember when your last training session with her?' said Jackie. Quinn turned to Tauriel who was smirking at him and Quinn lowered his head with his ears bent back as he muttered.

'You guys really hurt my pride you know that?' Again Jackie and Tauriel softly laughed.

'Alright you two that's enough' Thranduil stated. Jackie and Tauriel lowered their heads and remained silent. Jackie continued to look at the floor when she saw Thranduil's paws in front of her.

She stood up properly before bowing her head in respect and he said to her,

'Jacklyn Elizabeth Frost; Savior of Mirkwood and now Beta dog of the US Army. Your job is not only to help serve underneath your country, but to instill the protection of your Alpha and pack. As Beta you will carry out the commands of your Alpha to the whole K-9 unit when war comes. Will you accept the responsibilities of becoming the Beta after I step down first thing tomorrow to all the K-9 units and to honor the traditions of a Military dog?'
