Chapter 2; A mission gone wrong

Hey guys WOOOO!!!!!!! Been a long time since this story had been updated huh? Well for those of you who have been waiting so patiently waiting for this story and calling it interesting here is the long awaited Chapter 2 YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'll be alternating between this story and Bad Wolf like one day I'll update this story then the next maybe Bad wolf depending on my mood or how school goes for me.  Now in this chapter we finally meet our new character's who will play a part in the upcoming sequel to Daughter's of the Four seasons along with Quinn and Tauriel.  Anyways I'll leave you guys to it and enjoy reading "The Enhanced".

A few weeks after Thranduil had returned to Mirkwood, his children and granddaughter had received their orders that the wolf-dog K-9 unit would join the rest of the K-9 unit that was sent to Siberia, Russia to help with an investigation on rumored illegal experimentation that could perhaps be connected with several Higher Level military officers' disappearance.

As Ford entered "The Wolf's den" as he called it, he released his team from their pins and attached their leashes to their collars and walked them towards his unit car and he drove off to the airport for a nonstop flight to Siberia. During the drive, Quinn said.

"Where do you think we're going?"

"Who knows Quinn, but wherever it is we'll need to be alert and follow every order Ford gives us" stated Tauriel. It was then the two physically older elves took notice of their sister sitting fully erect and silent as she only stared out the window seeing the world pass by her.

"Jackie, you okay Sora Mea?"

"Be honest with me, do you really believe I can safely lead you guys as well as the other dogs into battle?" Jackie asked with such sternness but also doubt begging to her brother and sister if they trust her enough to obey her commands and to keep them as well as the other soldiers safe.

"Hell no". Quinn blantly stated. The two girls looked at Quinn in shock but he finished his statement with this, "I'm not following the Beta of the K-9 Unit X for the US Army, that She-elf who came into my pack and helped saved me and gave me a home when I lost my pack just 10 years ago, I'm following her. Jackie you're a natural born leader, and if those dogs we're meeting don't understand that then they are just mutts who don't know who they're messing with".

"I would have to agree with his statement Jackie. If not for you, we all wouldn't be here today had you not led us back to Mirkwood. Nor would we have the courage ourselves to unite and save Thranduil and Aniu from Maugrim and his warg pack". Tauriel stated.

"Jackie, you've got nothing to lose, Ford wouldn't have chosen you to become the K-9 Beta after Thranduil if he didn't believe in you. I know, we both know you can do this". Quinn walked up to his big sister and licked her muzzle assuringly.

"I just wish he was here to see me, I mean being chosen is easy but now comes the hard part, ruling over the rest of those dogs. You know what military dogs are like, I doubt they'll give me the same respect as they do to Thranduil". Jackie said as she lowered her ears sadly.

"Take this advice from one future Beta to another Jackie, never let them see that they get to you. As Betas we are there to only enforce our laws our Alpha's give us upon the pack. They also try and make it even more difficult on us because we're girls but as long as he show them we mean business by staring them down and showing true dominance, they'll get the message and not push us around". Jackie smiled at Tauriel's speech and said.

"Thanks ginger".

"We ladies must help one another" Tauriel said with a grin and a wink and then proceeded to nuzzle Jackie's head and lick on top of her head. And with that the rest of the trip was silent for the three Elves.
