Chapter 7.2

Outside the lab an old Air Force plane came flying up towards the lab alerting some of the human guards of its suspicion. They readied their weapons but held fire as the bird suddenly landed and the second hatch opened up.

"Hello these are your prisoners. We fully surrender and are ready to accept our fate". A female voice cried out in a manly tone. The guards looked at each other suspiciously but all five of them entered inside in a single file until they were all inside the bird. Soon sounds of a fight broke out and soon the guards were all killed by either gun blasts or blades.

From the inside of the lab the security inside saw that the guards were not at their posts. One of them pressed the intercom button and stated.

"Scout team why aren't you at your post? Scout team do you copy?" Soon one of the guards came out looking up at the watch tower where security was in and tapped their helm signaling a broken transmission. The guard nodded and told the other security monitors. "Take over. We've got a bad transmission, I'll see what I can do". But when he opened the door he got a shock to see Groot and three other guards standing there.

Groot roared out as the three guards plus Rocket who came out from behind Groot started firing at every security guard in the tower. Once they were all dead, they walked inside and the last guard who had acted as a decoy came running in as the doors sealed shut. The guard removed their helmet to reveal Quinn and he said.

"You know between his howling and your blasting everything in sight, it's a wonder the whole station doesn't know we're here". Another guard removed their helmet to reveal Jackie and she said.

"Well bring 'em on! I'd prefer a straight fight to all this sneakin around" Jackie teased. The two fist bumped and nudged each other knowing at what they had just said.

"What are you two talking about? It was your idea Jackie" said Tauriel as she took off her helmet as did Thranduil.

"Oh my god, you've never seen Star Wars?" Quinn asked in pure shock. Tauriel just tilted her head in confusion while Quinn just stared at her in complete horror.

"Now, now Quinn to be fair Thranduil was kept as prisoner shortly after my curse, and Tauriel and the rest of the pack were forced into an isolated land during the time it came out with no magic to make them become Man's best friend". Jackie assured him. She then turned towards Tauriel and Thranduil and said. "We were just quoting Star Wars since we're pulling a book from A New Hope. Our last owner before we were assigned to be Military dogs, fortunately had all things Star Wars so when I found out Quinn had never seen the movies I had our owner play it for us, all except the prequels ugh" she shuddered softly. "The only good prequel was Rouge One and that's the only thing that was good in making the prequels".

"Maybe if all of us get a peaceful owner and they have Star Wars maybe we can all watch it together, I'd think you'd like it Tauriel, there's a character who is so much like you". Quinn stated.

"Really?"

"Yeah".

"Okay enough of this Star peace stuff and you lot come here" Rocket sneered. The elves all gathered around Rocket and Jackie said to him.

"First of all its Star Wars not Peace. Second of all it's a classic and very pop-cultured film that has lasted over a thousand years and will continue to astound audiences all over the world".

"Yeah, yeah, yeah now shut up and listen," the computer screen soon came on and showed the entire layout of the laboratory. "Alright Strucker appears to be at the center facility, if you guys take the shortcut through the west wing you should be able to take him down".
