Ramya got the dictionary. Three of them sat down on Pandit Bhavyesh's study table. They started arranging the letters in the words. Chaithra realised that her grandfather had left a simple anagram. They took a sentence each. After two hours of heated discussion they decoded it. The anagram was

LOIDS LAND GOD
ERA BEGIN
GLUED MUGS TO
79° 41'E

was decoded to be

GOLD AND IDOLS
ARE BEING
SMUGGLED OUT
79° 41'E

"Gold and idols are smuggled? But by whom? Is it from the temple, Ammamma? What do you think Charu?" Chaitra bursted out.

"Akka, I think Thatha knew something about the smuggling. Maybe that's why he was kidnapped? Anyway, we have decoded the message!"

Charusila started dancing. But Chaithra and Ramya were still lost.

"Akka, aren't you happy?"

"No I am partly happy," replied Chaitra.

"Partly happy?"

"Because we still haven't found out what is 79° 41'E is about. Come to kitchen both you. We need to clean the kitchen," said Ramya and got up.

"Ammamma is it okay if Charu is here. I mean she hates kitchen chores. She will translate those notes till the time we clean the kitchen."

"Yes Ammamma. Please allow me. I don't have detective mind like Akka but I can translate pretty well."

"Okay Charu. But if you have any problem call us," said Ramya and both of them left.

Let me see what Thatha has written. What? The date is of two months back. Did Thatha knew about this earlier that we will be checking his journal?

She started flipping the pages.

It seems Thatha has written all the information we need to find him. I'll start translating in a notebook date wise.

After half an hour of translating the journal, Charusila couldn't believe what she read.

By Lord Shiva, this is not possible. I need to call Akka. No. Wait Charusila. Ammamma won't understand it. I'll translate it. How could this happen and we were oblivious about it? Thatha will be surely somewhere here. I'll read and tell it to them.

After another half an hour, Charusila had almost translated the important parts of the journal.

"Charu, have you translated it?"

"Akka, Ammamma, come here," requested Charusila.

"Did you find something? Any hint?" Ramya asked.
