Sarah's pov
I had lost track of time, the lapse of time was unfelt by my stiff stature as I laid on the hard floor. The clouded images had softened, however the shapes were still not at sharp as they should have been. I was able to form the room I was in, spotting the different entrance ways and hallways to other rooms. Upon closer inspection, I was able to come to the conclusion the wooden shack was some form of boat house, the salt in the air tickled my nose.
Jessica, her mother and the man were discussing different things, my mind to overwhelmed to recollect exactly what they said. Their voices were loud, to loud for my pounding head. I tried to stand while their words kept them diverted from my actions, but the heavy chains linked around my limbs kept me glued to the floor. The sound of shifting metal had caught Jessica's attention and I had cursed when she walked closer to my stuck body.
"Awh don't worry," the once beautiful girl teased, "those chains really bring out your eyes." She snickered evilly, chuckling to herself as she kneeled to my height. I had mustered all the strength in my body, gathering the saliva in my mouth before launching the sticky goo in her face. She had spluttered when the liquid hit her skin and her taunting smile turned down into a freshly formed scowl. She raised her hand to wipe away the spit before she brushed her hand on the fabric of her skirt, removing the goop. She had smiled smugly, causing a look of confusion to etch it's way over my face. She had over exaggerated the act of collecting spit inside her on mouth, coughing from the back of her throat. She spat the disgusting goop on my skin, my restraints yielded me from being able to remove it so the liquid slid down my face.
She strutted away in triumph, standing beside her mother who hasn't spoken since the hospital, simply obliges to every order she's given.
"Alright Jess, let's get her on the boat." The man had instructed his daughter, tilting his head in my direction. Sudden fear of being in the ocean washed through my veins, my phobia of being in the water since my sister died fresh in my thoughts.
I tried my best to wiggle away from the two, but the sphere weight kept me in place. The man grabbed my feet, struggling a bit do the extra weight. He grunted when I was almost able to fall from his hold and gripped my ankles tighter.
"Stop your moving will ya'." He had said in annoyance, he and Jessica carrying me through the entrance of the boat house. I yelled, which caused Jessica's mother to insert a cotton cloth into my mouth, muffling the sound of my screams.
They carried me toward the dock, no one else was in sight as they descended down the rock path. I spotted the small speedboat at the end of the dock and shivered, twisting more fiercely in their hands. The water rocked the vehicle from side to side, giving the boat a villainous appearance.
"Ready?" The man asked Jessica, raising his eyebrows. Jess nodded reassuringly and I cried I against the fabric between my lips. "One," he said, swaying my body over the boat. "Two." He counted making me wail in fear, "three."
They had thrown me harshly into the boat, my head hitting a hard corner and blurring my sight once more. I felt nauseous as I heard the three of them climb into the boat, my head more than likely bleeding due to the blow. They all sat on different seats on the boat, the man starting the water car and pulling away from the dock slowly.
The waves were rough and the man made no attempt to try and steady the ship. My body had hit the side of the boat each time the rocky water sloshed on it's surface. It wasn't until we had reached the middle of the ocean, the black abais lurking beneath us, that they had stopped the boat. I realized then, that I had liked it better when my head was banging against the floor.
Hi everyone, please ignore the typos and such! This is another chapter I had accidentally unpublished so all original votes and comments were deleted :/
Are there any predictions for the end?
Also the new cover! It's not great, but your girl isn't very creative and is definitely no graphic designer.
That being said, I really hope you're liking the story! Once again don't forget to vote and comment, even share if you like.
