Treegan- loving my best friend

Chapter 6:

Troian's POV:

I take a silent shaky breath in before asking Ashley, "what was that price?" She gives an evil look, and replies with a few simple words. "Less haleb for the fans." She giggles and throws her head back laughing like a little kid. "You looked terrified!" She says laughing even more, now out of breath.

I roll my eyes groaning, and then blush. "Why, do you know someone who's dating on set? This is juicy! We could tell Marlene and destroy their career!" She insists. My stomach drops, I feel like I'm going to be sick. She may just be making jokes but little does she know I'm frightened someone will find out about Keegan and I.

"Jeez, you look like you see a ghost! I'm not that mean!" She says giving me a light shoulder punch. I give a nervous chuckle and race for the bathroom. Leaving the bathroom was Tyler, I flew past him and locked the door behind me. I took deep breaths and rubbed my temples, when there was a soft knock at the door.

"I need to check my make up and hair for the next scene, can you hurry up?" Keegan asks, clueless to who's in here. I wipe the tears from my eyes and respond. "Uh, yeah one sec." I say in a sad voice. "Troian?" He asks. My stomach drops and more tears flood out of my eyes and down my cheeks. I unlock the door, open it and pull him inside quickly, locking the door again.

"What's wrong?" He whispers wiping the tears from my cheeks. Nothing comes out. I let out another shaky breath before I realize my head is planted on his chest, and I'm holding onto him so tightly. "Shh." He whispers as he rubs my back. I take calmer breaths and slowly let go of him. "Ash said something that got me worried, my anxiety flares up over everything." I tell him.

"What did she say?" He asks raising an eyebrow. "I-I don't want to repeat it, I just want this day to be over so I can go home and spend the evening with you!" I say frustrated. "Hey, we can do whatever you want later okay?" He says smiling. I nod my head and return a small smile. "Thank you." I whisper before giving him a small kiss on the lips.

I peek out the bathroom door, no one is in sight so I run as fast as I can trying not to be noticed on our set number. I casually stand by Lucy and start talking to her. "Where have you been?" She asks. "On the other set, I thought the first scene was in my barn, but it's actually in The Radley!" I lie, I knew exactly what set to be on, but I couldn't tell anyone that.

Around 4 PM

"Good job today, we got more than expected done! So in favour of that, you guys get the day off tomorrow! See you 7 sharp on Tuesday." Marlene announces. I'm kind of happy we don't have to work tomorrow, because now I can ask if Keegan wants to stay over or something for the night.

"Need a ride?" Ash asks walking up to me. "Um, no thanks, I'm going with Keegs." I smile walking out onto the parking lot. I find Keegan already sat in his vehicle waiting for me. I climb in and quickly place a kiss on his cheek. "Hello, girlfriend." He smirks. "Hello, boyfriend." I smile. "So I was thinking.." I say playing with my fingers. "So have I." He tells me.

"Oh, um you go first." I insist. "We want this relationship to work, correct?" He asks me. I just nod, staring at him. "Maybe, just maybe we should tell everyone, because eventually I want us to start a life together." He says taking my hand and intertwining our fingers. I smile and nod. "That would be amazing." I say smiling.

"What were you thinking?" He asks. "I was wondering if you wanted to stay over tonight, because we don't have work." I say. "I'd love to, can we stop to my place so I can pack a bag?" He asks. "Of course." I respond. He starts the vehicle at last and we head off to Keegan's house for a bit, until we head to my house for the night.

Hopefully, we will be able to tell Marlene about us, I wouldn't want to see us not together.
