Troian's POV:

As we walk into the house we're greeted by our eager friends. "I just want to be alone." I whisper walking up the stairs slowly. Keegan stops me, and decides to explain. "Ashton needs surgery and tests tomorrow, so Troian and I are going to spend the night there. Um, she has this rare sickness, and she's hooked up to wires and tubes and needles. No child has ever survived this, and there is no existing cure. They are going to try and invest in one for one month, after that, they unplug Ashton for good... But the surgery may help.. Or it may not." Keegan tells them.

"I'm, so sorry." I hear Sasha whisper and slowly walk over to me. "I'll watch Addison and spend the night, you two should go with Ashton. Addison is in good hands." Sasha says supportively hugging me. I collapse into her arms, crying. "I just miss Ashton, why did something bad have to happen?" I sob into her arms. "Hey, it'll be okay." Ian steps in hugging me. "We will all stay the night, Sasha needs the company." Lucy smiles joining the hug.

They all emerge into a group hug around me until Sasha speaks up. "Okay, okay, go pack. She needs you." Sasha says wiping her tears. Keegan and I go up to our room and pack, as soon as we get up there Keegan shuts the door. I go over to our bed and I fall onto it, burying my face into the pillow, silently crying. "Shh." Keegan whispers sitting next to me as he rubs my back. I wipe my eyes and crawl onto his lap. "Keegan." I start saying as I look up into his eyes. "Yes?" He answers rubbing my back. "Please promise me, that you'll never leave me." I whisper as my voice cracks mid sentence.

"Troian, I'm never leaving you." He tells me. I turn around so I face Keegan, and wrap my legs around his waist. I give a weak smile and press my lips against his. After pulling away for about a second, I feel his lips against mine once again. "I think you said we could finish what we started earlier." He smirks. "Did I?" I smile pushing him back on the bed. "I love you Troian." He whispers softly as he trails kisses down my neck. He flips us over so he can be on top, and starts slowly kissing his way down my neck.

"Should we? I mean our friends are downstairs a-and we need to get Ashton, also what about—" I say before he stops my talking with a kiss. I let him take my shirt off, and I take his off. "You're going to have to promise to be quiet." He chuckles slowly pulling my pants down. "I promise." I whisper slowly kissing his cheek and trailing to his lips. I unzip his jeans and pull them down his legs. "When are you guys leaving?" I hear Shay call from outside the door. "Uh, soon." I mumble.

"Can I come in?" She asks as the doorknob turns. "No!" I yell as Keegan jumps off of me. "Oh my god." She yells covering her eyes and going out again. "Guys we're downstairs!" Shay cries. "We know, we're sorry." I apologize. "Now what did you want?" I ask poking my head out the door. "I can tell you before you leave. I'll let you guys finish what you started, I'll tell everyone you're packing." She says and awkwardly runs down the stairs. "Well our best friend just caught us in the act." I laugh lightheartedly.

"Yeah." He chuckles softly. "Maybe you're right, it isn't a good time, or place.." He apologizes. "It's fine, you know, maybe we can finish it later." I smirk sliding my pants back up my legs. I put my shirt on and continue to pack. Keegan throws his shirt and pants on and helps pack his things. When we're done we rush downstairs and Sasha hugs me quickly. "We're all going to stay here, and you're in our thoughts and prayers." She says hugging me tightly. "Thanks Sash, if you need anything call." I smile holding her hand.

"You too Troi." She smiles as we begin to walk out. "What did you need earlier, Shay?" I ask raising an eyebrow. "I didn't need anything, just wondering if you needed help packing but you had that covered." She says and Keegan blushes a little and I pull him out the door. We wave and hop into the truck. "I'm nervous about tomorrow." I tell him putting my hand on his upper thigh. "Everything will be fine, babe." He says giving a weak smile. When we reach the hospital we walk up to the counter.

"Ashton Allen." I say rubbing my eyes. "Sorry she is no longer on this floor." The receptionist tells us. "Was she moved to the nursery?" I ask. "Uh, no, she was rushed into immediate surgery." She says flipping through her notebook. "Immediate what?" I choke out leaning closer to her. "Why weren't we contacted?" I say raising my voice, catching some people's attention. "They told us not to notify you for a few more hours." She tells me innocently. Keegan pulls me back by the bottom of my shirt and quickly pulls me into a hug.

"Surgery?" I choke out as he strokes my hair. "Where can we wait? When can we see her? Why was she rushed? Will she be okay?" Keegan asks worried. "You may wait on floor 6, a doctor will talk to you after the surgery to talk about how it went. The surgery will take about 4 hours, she went in 10 minutes ago. You can see her 3 hours after the surgery, so around 3:00-4:00 AM. She was rushed because the sickness spread to her brain and she has slight damage done at the moment, we're not sure if she will be okay." She says.

I sigh, cover my mouth with my hands and tears immediately escape my eyes. He thanks the receptionist and brings me to the 6th floor. He then calls our friends to deliver the devastating news. After he hangs up we sit in the waiting room. "I can't wait any longer." I whisper sitting on his lap. "It's okay." He whispers pulling me into him. I must of drifted off to sleep because Keegan started shaking me, and I woke up. "Are you Ashton's parents?" The nurse asks. "Yes." I nod my head standing up. I quickly grab Keegan's hands and bring my attention back to her.

"This surgery, was, very complicated to do at her age." She starts off and tears fall down my face. "So, so she's gone?" I whisper. "I'm sorry." She says before walking away. "This isn't happening." I say shaking my head and Keegan kisses my hair. "I'm so sorry baby." He whispers pulling me in for a long and comforting hug. "I guess we can go." I say sadly taking his hand. We drive home in silence and walk to our living room to see everyone awake. "So how'd it go?" Sasha asks with a smile. "It was too complicated." I whisper. "You mean she's?" Ian starts. "She's gone." I say crying again.

"I'm so sorry." Lucy says as they all form a group hug around us once again. I cry into Ian's shoulder, who just so happened to be in front of me, and wrapped my arms around him tightly. "It's okay, Troian. This is hard, but Addison will live a happy and healthy life." He says comfortingly. "Thanks." I sniffle wiping my eyes. "You guys can stay here tonight, but I just need to be alone with Keegan." I say grabbing Keegan's hands and pulling him upstairs. "Come here." He whispers pulling me into Addison's room.

We stand side by side staring down at sleeping Addison. She's so tiny, and clueless. "Only if you knew." I whisper letting a tear fall. Keegan wraps his arm around me and I rest my head on his shoulder. "Let's go relax, I know you won't get to sleep." He tells me and I nod letting him drag me into our room.

Our life will never be the same...
