Treegan- loving my best friend

Chapter 23:

Here is the list of names we chose, each cast member chose a name for a girl and a boy.

I have a few favourite's, but I haven't told anyone yet. Marlene calls everyone to set to shoot some scenes, when I confront Ashley. "Ashley, I miss you. I miss being your friend. I know this is possibly dangerous to tell you but I'm pregnant, and I found out today. I want her to have an aunt who will spoil her with love, and you're the perfect friend to do that. I know Keegan and I dating isn't your favourite, but I really do miss you." I tell her.

"I miss you so much Troian, I'm sorry for how I acted. I miss hanging out with all of you and gossiping or catching up. Can we all be friends again if we promise to not try and ruin one another's lives?" She chuckles hugging me, and surprisingly, I hug her back. "Of course." I smile. "Patrick isn't to be trusted." She whispers before pulling back, and I shoot her a confused look before Marlene joins us.

"There has been rumours put out that you have huge news, Troian." Marlene says. "Besides the fact Ash and I made up, yes. I'm pregnant, Mar." I tell her, and a huge smile plasters her face. "Oh my god, congrats!" She exclaims hugging me. "Let's celebrate tonight, everyone meet at my house, cake and dinner included!" She announces.

My friends approach when they hear Marlene shout something, and ask why Ash and I are so close again. "We actually just made up." I smile, and so do they. "We all missed you Ash." Tyler says hugging her. "I acted stupid, but we're all cool now." She smiles hugging me again. "Everyone suggested names except you! Any ideas?" I ask her.

"For a girl, Ashton, and for a boy, Joey!" She smiles excitedly. "Love it!" I smile. We shoot for the remainder of the day, and start to pack up. "It's currently 4:00 pm, I will see you all at my house by... 8:00?" Marlene asks. We all agree and go home. "Keegan I can't believe this is happening." I say smiling. "I'm going to be a father." He mumbles with a smile.

"You okay?" I ask him putting my hand over his. "Yeah, just, it's just. Uh nothing." He stammers shaking his head. "Tell me, please." I whisper stroking his cheek with my thumb. "It's just, I didn't have a dad growing up, and it was hard. You know that he passed away when I was younger, but I can't do this to our baby, I always want to be there for him or her." He whispers softly as a tear falls down his cheek.

"There is no doubt in my mind that you won't be an amazing father." I tell him as I kiss the tears, he returns a smile. We drive home, and when we get there I crash on the couch. "I'm going to relax for a few hours, maybe announce my pregnancy.." I smile as he accompanies me. "We should think of names. What do you like out of those?" He asks me.

"For boys: Nicholas and Zachary. For girls: Sophie and Ashton." I smile to him. "For boys I was thinking: Joshua or Nicholas. For girls: Addison or Rachel." He smiles kissing my cheek. "In 3 months we can get an ultrasound for the gender and find out!" I exclaim excitedly. I open Instagram first and take a picture of my hand and Keegan's over my stomach.

"We're expecting...👶🏼" I put as the caption, and of course in minted the Internet blew up. "Necessary?" He asks sighing. "Yes it was." I giggle reading some comments. "Earlier when I hugged Ashley, she whispered something in my ear." I tell him sitting up. "What was that?" He asks me. "Patrick isn't to be trusted..." I whisper.

"Maybe she was kidding." He suggests. "They worked together in a force to ruin our lives, and we're friends, why would she kid?" I exclaim throwing my hands up. "Stress isn't good on the baby." He whispers rubbing my back. "We should get going." I smile standing up, and he follows me to his truck.

Throughout the night we talk to everyone, get tons of congratulations on my pregnancy, and there was lots of food. "Guys! Everyone listen up!" I yell out and all the attention was on Keegan and I. "First I want to thank everyone for coming, and thank you to Marlene for throwing this-" I start and then the applause cuts me off. I begin to speak again when it stops.

"I've been thinking this through, and I want to let everyone who's here to know that in 3 months from now, I'll be throwing a party at my place for the gender reveal. I'll have a mix of blue and pink balloons around, and the cake's colour will be the gender. Also, there will be a baby shower for the girls 5 months after that because I'll be 8 months in." I smile and the cheering happens again.

After the party we head home, and go to bed. Seeing it's Tuesday, and we have to shoot early tomorrow, we figured going to bed early wouldn't hurt us or the baby. "I'm so excited for this." I say kissing him goodnight. "Me too." He smiles as we drift off to sleep..

GUESS WHAT!

Okay: so the time is going to speed up so it isn't a dragged out 9 months of pregnancy and then it'll be normal with the parenting adventures :)

Next chapter is 3 months ahead at the ultrasound and gender reveal party, and then I'll let you know when it speeds up/goes back to normal!
