Chapter 17:

"We need to get Ashley to stop this." Sasha demands. "I know, but how? Everyday or so she said she's going to start rumours about me!" I tell them. "Well, there is another rumour spread, unless this one is the truth." Lucy says holding up her phone.

"Trending on Twitter, Troian and Patrick break up. Troian cheats on him with a girl cast member." I read out in shock. "What the hell is going through her head?" Shay asks. I put my head in my hands and curl up into a ball. "Come here." I hear Keegan say just loud enough for me to hear something come out. I don't move.

I feel myself being lifted up and then laid on someone's lap. I look up, it's Keegan. I look into his eyes and smile, then rest my head against his chest. "I love you." He whispers into my ear just loud enough for me to hear it. Forgetting the girls were in the room, I gently kiss him on the lips. We're cut off by the three "awe's" said.

I glare at them and they all laugh. "I'm soon going to confirm that Keegan and I are dating so anything else said by her is wrong, and everyone will know." I say speaking up. "Let's do it." Keegan insists pulling his phone out. "Woah, woah, woah. Marlene's rules, Ashley's games." I remind him, taking the phone from his hand.

"I'll call Marlene, tell her to come here, we can explain this and we can take the lead on Ashley." He tells me. "Maybe we should go confront her, we're late for shooting." I remind them. We all walk out of her trailer, and just before we enter the set we're stopped by Ashley. "I heard you were a lesbian? Oh Troian, it's fine that you're changing your sexuality because no one will get with you." She giggles.

"What is your problem?" Sasha butts in standing face to face with Ashley. Ashley gives her a grin and leads us onto the set of The Brew. "Troian, are you actually a lesbian now? That's amazing! I'm so happy, as long as you are it'll be-" a producer says before I cut her off. "Chill, I'm not into girls like that, I like guys." I reassure her.

"Troian, congrats on coming out of-" a guy says before Ashley butts in. "I heard she is not straight because a guy wouldn't get in her pants." Ashley snickers loud enough for everyone on set to hear her. "Why me?" I mumble as a tear falls down my cheek. I run out the door and Ian and Tyler, who were stood by the door stopped me.

"Shay told us about it all, we're sorry. She can't win, you can't leave either." Tyler tells, and they both hug me. Keegan pushes a few producers out of his way and grabs my arm. "Don't run off, you're okay, she just wants the attention." Keegan whispers stroking my hair and holding me close. "I hate working here now.." I tell them.

"Let's shoot our scenes and tell Marlene soon. This is out of hand." He tells me. I nod my head and wipe my tears.

We shoot for a few hours, and deal with Ashley and her snarky remarks. Around 6:00 pm we stop for the day, and we head off to find Marlene quickly before anything else bad can happen...

"Where did she go?" I ask Keegan. "Her office, I seen her go get her purse." He tells me as the two of us run to her office. "Hello Troian, hello Keegan." She says cheerfully. "Congrats on you two living together." She says glaring at us. "How did you-?" I ask before she cuts in. "The girls." She says rolling her eyes.

"Yeah. About the girls." Keegan starts saying. "Marlene we need to confess something!" I blurt out desperately. "Continue." She tells me as she packs a few things into her purse. I explain, once again, the flashback story about what happened between Ash and I, and explain why all of this is happening.

"Troian, I'm so sorry she's putting you through this. I'll talk to her, but your best option is to now tell the media about you two to dial down Ashley's actions, that'll give them something to talk about." She says hugging me and shaking Keegan's hand before leaving her office.

"This is it. We're going to make this official." I smile looking into his eyes.
