Under the Same Stars

It goes way back.

I had finally finished my first week of school,

to be completely honest nothing really happened after the first day,

it just kept on getting more and more boring day after day.

Seriously, how did people do this?

I awoke to the sun hitting my face,

I lie there in bed,

pondering whether I should lie there in bed and think about life,

or actually get up and be productive.

I decided since it looked so pleasant outside that maybe I should actually be productive today.

I quickly brushed my teeth and rushed down stairs in my pajamas,

I looked around and it appeared to me that Scott and Alexa fell asleep on the couch together,

Dylan was no where to be found.

I assumed maybe he had to run a quick errand.

I made my way into the kitchen and out into the patio, hoping to enjoy the sunrise,  where I found Dylan sitting on some sofas outside.

"Good morning!"  Dylan said as he saw me make my way onto the patio

"Good morning! How'd you sleep?"

"Pretty good, I'm still sleepy though. Hehe, What about you?"

"I slept like a baby"

"Haha, how'd you find me?"

"Well, I expected to find everyone awake but only found out some were still getting their beauty sleep... I decided I wanted to catch a glimpse of the sun and now... here I am!"

"Haha! Yeah I came out here for the same reason!"

"Nature is just so beautiful you know? I was locked up in the orphanage for so long, I was never aloud outside, everything I saw was from my window."

"Man, that sucks! I don't know how you made it in there, I probably would've gone crazy!!!!!"

"I'm surprised I came out at least okay" I laughed

"Oh hey I almost forgot to tell ya! We all have a checkup with our supernatural doctor this afternoon at the hospital, she'll examine our powers, abilities, weaknesses, etc."

"Is it scary?"

"Oh no! Of course not, just a couple tests-"

I was finally brought back to that horrible memory of mine,

when I went to go get tested with John.

How I destroyed everything with my supernatural abilities.

I was so young.

How could I have done something like that?

"-We have to see doctors who specialize in our abilities, don't worry though, it'll be okay!" He gave a small smile.
