Alexandra made the perfect waffles.

They were so rich, moist, and fluffy.

I didn't know waffles could be this good!

I knew I had to stop at some point or else I would be too full for training!

"You guys ready for Squad Training?"

Scott said eagerly, gulping down his last chunk of waffle, washing it down with a big glass of OJ.

"I'm Ready, love!!!"

Alexandra replied.

"Ready"

Dylan said wiping the excess syrup off of his lips

I caught the memo

"I guess I'm ready too.... Wait!"

"Yeah?" Alexandra replied

"What about school? Do you guys go?"

"Oh, yes, about that... We go to school whenever we can, it really all depends on whenever the world decides to loose its sanity!"

"Oh, Okay! Sounds Great... Except for the sanity part"

Everyone at the table let out a laugh.

Was it me or is it the best feeling in the world when you make other people happy? I always loved making John laugh,  it always gave me a good warm, cheerful feeling that was almost unable to be explained.

"So tomorrow we go to school unless the world or some evil villain decides to get revenge on the world?!"

"Yup, pretty much"

"Okie Dokie! Thanks Alexandra, I was just wondering"

"No problem! Let's head to the gym"

"Oh and another quick little question I had.."

"Yeah, Shoot"

"Who came and put blankets on me?"

"Oh, I did" Alexandra responded.

"I thought the door was locked?"

"Nope! It was closed but not locked"

Hmmm... That was a bit odd

Honestly I was a little confused when she said gym,

wasn't she worried about people seeing us?

If no one else in the squad cared then I wouldn't care either!

We walked down the hallway on the first floor of the house to the "Gym"

I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY PUT MINI GYMS IN HOUSES, TIMES HAVE REALLY CHANGED!

We walked into the room, it was big enough for more than just one gym equipment.

I looked around at the workout machines and noticed a flat tv attached to the wall!

"WHAT THE HECK?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE TV? WHO SQUISHED IT?"

Everyone turned towards me, creeped out by my random sentence I blurted out.

I tried to make a quick joke to save me from the after effects of awkwardness and said

"Did I say that out loud?"

Everyone chuckled and started to laugh.

"Sorry, I only remember having the big chunky TV's back then"
