Megan's Sleepover

Alexa introduced me to something called an Uber since she could't exactly drive yet.

"Here, this  cab driver will take you to where you need to go."

"So I just wait for them to come and...?"

"Yup, easy as pie! I gotta get inside, they might get onto us, hurry go!" Alexa laughed a little, and headed back inside.

I waited for a good 5 minutes outside with my bags all packed, and an iPhone in my hand thinking about all the possible things that could happen while I'm there.

As the Uber driver parked their car, I began to walk over, panicking whether I should back out of this mess

"Hello! Good Evening, Hop right in."

"Thank you." I put my belongings in and sat them down beside me

I sat back against the seat, attempting to at least enjoy my ride.

"So what event are you heading to?"

"Just a sleepover" I said

"Ha. Sure sounds like fun kid. Do you even want to go? Seems like with that tone ya don't."

"Well, between you and I, I don't really want to go. But I'm doing it all to make my acquaintance happy, she's just going through a lot at the moment."

"Ahhh, I see... nothing like some good o'l friendship, eh?"

"Haha, I guess" I shrugged, just wanting to get this over with!

Finally we arrived at her house,

"Thanks for the ride!"

"No problem, happy to drive you here, have fun!"

I walked to the door, only hearing music throughout the house,

maybe she was hosting a dance party?

I rang the doorbell,

Megan appeared from around the door,

blasting the BLARING loud music in my face from indoor.

"Hey Girl!!! Come join the parrrr-taaaayyy!"

I walked in with my sleepover bag, only realizing, the house didn't look like what I pictured a "sleepover" to be like.

Teenagers,

Everywhere,

surrounding the kitchen,

the living room,

practically trashing the place!

"You can just throw your bag over there-" Megan grabbed my bag and tossed it in another direction

"Um- Megan, I thought there was only going to be a few people here?"

"Um .. NO! Who do you think I am!?! ALL of my friends came here!"

Yeah no kidding, all 326 of them, I thought to myself.

The music rang in my ears, making my ears feeling like they were gonna explode from all the music beats and rhythms.

"Follow me, Caitlin" Megan screamed at me

I followed her down a hallway,

seeing lights shining throughout the whole house,

disco lights,

police looking lights,

strobe lights in almost every room.
