"Peg?" Daniel asked. "What are you still doing here? Your gonna miss your flight.
Peggy was standing in front of the Theatrical Agency waiting for Chief Thompson to pick her up. Peggy sighed referring to Daniel's question. "The great Chief Thompson had either forgotten me or is being held up." Peggy replied. She didn't want to leave. Not now. But she must return to sort things out at SSR New York, tell Angie that she had been in LA. She would most definitely return.
"Let's call the hotel," Daniel suggested. Peggy nodded and picked up her bags. She followed Daniel back inside the disguised agency. Daniel grabbed the phone that was sitting atop Rose's desk. He dialed the number and waited for someone to answer. "Ah, yes," Daniel said. "As a Jack Thompson checked out yet?"
Peggy didn't hear what the other end of the line said but Daniel shook his head, signaling he has not.
"May I get his room number please," Daniel asked politely. "I'm his... brother."
Peggy stifled a chuckle and looked at Daniel. He shrugged his shoulders. "Room 208. Thank you."
Daniel hung up the phone as Peggy picked up her bags. "I'll drive you."
"Oh, I can get a taxi," Peggy offered.
"No. No, I insist," Daniel said heading for the fire.
"I-"
"I'm not taking no for an answer," Daniel says holding open the door.
Peggy smiled. "Very well."
