Peggy settled into the bed and pulled the blankets closer to her. And she slowly nodded off. But the sudden freak of the floorboards, made her grip her gun and shoot up. Cocking the gun she asked, "Who are you?"

The figure didn't answer but got closer to the bed. Peggy got out of the bed on the opposite side, gun still pointed at it.

The sleek silhouette darted across the room and at Peggy. She moved just in time and he hit the wall but the gun was knocked out of her hand. She looked around but couldn't find it in the dark. As the person tried regaining his composure, she grabbed the back of his collar to throttle him. But he has more strength than her tired body did and whipped around only to backhand her cheekbone. Sure to leave a bruise. She took a step back and pulled him around, hurting him but not doing any particular damage.

He had managed to get behind her and pulled her into a choke hold. Seriously? With the choking?! Peggy elbowed his nose until she heard a satisfying crack. The man let go of her grabbing his nose. He darted towards her again heading for her neck again. And she briefly wondered how no one heard any of this. Peggy turned and ducked his punch but he cowardly tripped her. She fell on her chest but found the gun, laying under her bed. She smirked whilst grabbing it and shooting it towards him. The bullet only grazed his arm and got the wall behind him. She stood back up and tried to shoot the gun again. It was our of bullets. She never used it! And it was always full! Bloody Nora! She walked towards him have got him upside the face, kicked him in the groin, making him fall to the ground. She finished him off by hitting the back of his head, knocking him out cold. That's when she realized everyone was outside her room, well, expect for Angie. She let out a breath and coughed a little.

"Miss Carter?!" cried Ana Jarvis. "Are you alright?"

Margret nodded. "Thankfully."

"Can someone explain what's going on?" Angie asks entering the doorway, rubbing her head.

"Well," Mr Jarvis started. "It would seem someone it's trying to severely hurt Miss Carter."

"Are you okay English?!" Angie asks suddenly worried.

"I'm quite alright. Thank you," Peggy nodded while answering.

"Is their anything we might do to help?" Mr Jarvis inquired.

Peggy glanced at the clock. 9:45. She shook her head and said to the crowd, "No. Please, go back to sleep. I'll take care of him."

Everyone hesitantly obeyed and Peggy walked over to her phone. She dialed the SSR office, thinking there may be a slight possibility Daniel's still there. If not she could try his house. And sure enough, he answered the SSR phone. Though, he sounded as though he'd just woken up. "Hello?"

"Daniel," Peggy said.

"Peggy?"

"Yes, um, sorry to wake you, but if you could come to the Stark residence, that would be great. Then I'd love to take you up on the drinks, you questioned about."

"Uh, yeah. Sure, I'm on my way." He wondered what she would need at this hour. But was excited to go out for drinks.

Peggy changed into more presentable clothes, had carried or rather dragged her attacker out to the living room and waited. She also tied the man's hands to his back. Just as a precaution.
