Summer's POV😊
'Sweetie I know this is crazy but life often takes us by surprise. I really hope you make an effort to get to know your father, I love you. Good Luck.'
I've spent seventeen years of my life wondering who my father is. My mom always told me he didn't want anything to do with me. But apparently he didn't even know that I existed until two weeks ago. And he's definitely not a dead-beat. My dad is Chris Cole. Maybe you've heard of him? He is the manager of ZRC, the world's largest social networking site.
Once he found out about me, he flew to see me. Obviously we had to do a DNA test... But it's true, my dad is the famous Chris Cole. I can't believe my mom dated him... And slept with him... That's gross to imagine.
So here I am, after a long flight from Arizona to Santa Monica, California. I guess my dad couldn't pick me up from the airport so I'm in a limo.
I look outside the tented windows and watch the scenery. I'm starting to feel slightly alone, maybe I'm nervous. Once again I pull out the note my mom wrote me even though I've read it about a thousand times.
The life I had with my mom was wonderful. Sure, she's not a multibillionaire, but I still love her to death. She understands everything and she worked hard for us. We lived in a nice two-bedroom home in a nice neighborhood. I went to a good school and had amazing friends and family around. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Now I'm starting from scratch and I don't want to change my attitude or life.
Soon we arrive at a large property which I'm assuming is to be my dads company going on how large it is.
"Welcome to your new home Ms. Cole." The driver says.
I gasp, this is my new house... It's like the size of an apartment complex combined.
Once we reach the driveway guards help me with my stuff, I don't have that much. It's very weird having people carry my stuff, is this what being pampered is like? They take me up to my room.
"Your dad is at work right now, but he'll be back around 8pm for dinner." Will, my personal guard tells me.
I nod my head and begin putting away my small collection of things. My room is huge, but I'm already seeing so many things to do with it. Maybe this will be fun.
