Chapter 15

Summer's POV

I haven't heard from Justin since the concert. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that but I really want to talk to him. I walked into the cafeteria for lunch and sat at the table.

"So how was the concert date?" Sage asks me.

I smiled and sat up.

"It was wonderful, Rihanna turned out amazing and we had a great time. We talked a lot and it was just awesome." I said before eating my salad.

"Did he kiss you?" Brooklyn asked.

I shook my head and laughed. "No."

"But he hasn't talked to me since and I don't know how to feel about it." I explained.

Brooklyn, Sage, and Carmen blushed and left the table signaling he was coming over here.

I sighed, great now it's us alone.

"Hey baby girl, I had fun at the concert." Justin says while sitting next to me.

"I did too." I said covering my mouth to hide my smile.

"We should go out again, but this time closer together... Like a couple. I wanna go out with you like as girlfriend and boyfriend." Justin said nervously.

"You want me to be your girlfriend?" I asked to confirm.

He nodded and smirked. "I hope it's not to soon." He laughed.

"Well yes I do. You're right it's way too soon but I really like you."

Justin grinned. "I like you too. What are you doing after school today?"

I frowned. "Remember I'm on punishment from punching Ashley and bothering Maria. But I'm free after Friday."

Justin chuckled. "That was awesome and hilarious. But me and a few friends are flying to Malibu and hanging at this cool home resort. You should come."

I thought about my dads reaction. "Toby is coming." Justin said quickly.

"Oh then my dad will say yes for sure. I'll ask him later." I said.

He nods and kisses me slowly to let his lips linger and walks to class. I guess it was his free period.

Carmen and the girls come back smiling.

"Well?????? Aren't you gonna explain what happened just now!" Exclaimed Tamera.

I blushed. "We go out now, and I'm going on a trip to Malibu with him this weekend."

The girls squealed and laughed once seeing Maria's, Lindsey's, and Ashley's faces.

"What's their issue?" I asked.

"Ashley used him for sex and that's Lindsey's ex boyfriend remember. And Maria is the leader so their all mad. One point for team Summer." Sage marked.

We all laughed and continued enjoying lunch. But then the end of the day came which was punishment.

"You girls ready to get started? Well guess what is not a choice it's a force. Take these rags and clean and scrub these dishes. Once you're done take on the lunch tables. After you finish and if there's still time left you can start with the 9th grade hallway and go remove all the gum from under the desks. I'll take your phones now to make sure you're still working.

I sighed and took a rag. Ashley and I went back to the kitchen to start. This was already torture because wane was in my presence.

"Look at you helping the janitors side. I can't believe you're already flirting with someone else. Does Justin know this?" Ashley says before snickering.

I ignore her and continue working.

"By the way I hope you enjoy my leftovers. I must tell you he's great I bed, oh wait your probably a virgin and never had a relationship... My bad."

"By the way I'm the one who beat you up... My bad. Don't get it twisted because even though I have punishment now I will fight you again. I'm not the one." I said sternly.

Ashley walks away and goes to her side to do her work. Finally it's almost time to leave and we finish everything and begin started on the desks. The janitor lets me out early for being so helpful and I take my phone and go home.

On my way home I text my dad and tell him about the Malibu trip which he said yes to.
