Summer's POV- Friday

Since Sunday, I've hardly seen my dad at all. He's been working basically around the clock, coming home around 12am only to sleep, and then he's back at work around 6am.

But it's okay even though I really miss him, and it's crazy how he survives with so little sleep. Tonight I get to see him at a black and white party were attending. Actually I barely see Caitlyn anymore, she's always out with her rich classy friends on a spa day or whatever.

Kaleb is always locked up in his room, usually with a girl. He still hits on me which is really gross.

I don't really talk to people inside our actual household because their always busy. My friends are pretty cool at school, except everyone is rich... I have nobody normal their, but I guess normal at Monica High is 3 million dollar clothing everyday.

Today for school I'm wearing leggings and an over sized sweater that says Gucci along with my brown Uggs paired with a matching Gucci handbag. For my hair it's in a half up half down style.

When I walked out my door I was surprised to see my dad standing in the doorway.

"Hey, I just wanted to stop by and see how you were. I've had a pretty busy week at the office." He explains with a smile.

I rolled my eyes. "Is it that hard to call or text? My friend is the gardener and pool boy." I said harshly.

"I know and I'm sorry, it's just business. And relax, we still have our Sunday dinners with the family, and we're going to a black and white party tonight."

"Whatever, I have to go to school. See you tonight." I said while walking passed him.

I walked downstairs and through the kitchen grabbing a breakfast bar. Then by the door I grabbed my keys and drove to school.

I pulled up to school at 6:58am which is kind of late considering school starts at 7.

"Hey Summer." My new best friend Brooklyn waved to me.

"Hey, are you coming to the black and white party?" I asked her.

"Of course, should I wear white or black, or both?"

"I think you should go with black because it complements your tan." I pointed out. "And do your nude bow heels."

She nodded, "Perfect. So how about I hear Devin likes you."

I shake my head. "Oh please he's my neighbors son who's dad is best friends with my dad, we go to Sunday dinners together."

"Well how about Justin, he seems cool." Brooklyn points out as were walking to class.

"He is hot, but doesn't he have a girlfriend?" I asked.

"Lindsey, oh please. She's a stuck up prissy brat, plus thy only date for sex. Summer he's going to the party, make a move."

I laughed, "Seriously Brooklyn."

She nodded.
