Chapter 7

Summer's POV-First Day After Break

I wake up to my alarm clock and jump up because it's the first day back to school after a three day weekend.

I run to my bathroom happy that I showered last night and began straightening my hair.

"Is it a dress code?" I asked kaleb who was sitting on my bed playing with my dream catcher.

"Nope, where whatever you want. It's no dress code so you can't get sent to the office."

I nodded and picked out a jean muscle tee thing and black leggings.

"Alright get out so I can change." I said.

"Don't worry I won't peek, but we're family just strip right here." Kaleb suggested.

I sighed, and we were making such great progress without all the hitting on and everything.

"I'll just change in my closet." I said while grabbing my things.

I paired the outfit with my grey retro 11s and a headband. Once I finished I still had 10 minutes before I needed to leave so I painted my nails white. The only makeup I wore was a little mascara, eyeliner, and lipgloss.

"Ok kaleb lets go."

Kaleb looked so simple. He had on khaki shorts and a polo shirt with Nike slides.

"Are you sure you don't want to wear heels sweetie, I'm just helping... I think you should make a good first impression."

I sighed and rolled my eyes because I knew this was coming. "Caitlyn I'm fine, thanks though."

"Well maybe some eyeshadow."

"NO! I'm fine, it's just school... School is for learning not NYC fashion magazines."

"Mom she looks fine, and we're going to be late." Kaleb said.

I nodded and went in the pantry to fill Chanel's bowl. I absolutely love my puppy, it's the only thing that an average normal person would have around me.
