Chapter 11

Summer's POV

I wake up the next morning feeling great, Tamera and Chloe got me out of suspension so now I can go to school. Today I'm wearing a cute red dress with black bow heels.

I wave off to Caitlyn getting a smile of approval. Of course Kaleb is staring at me in every direction he can get.

I arrive at school getting tons of stares and numbers from boys. Once I get to my locker the group gathers around (Brooklyn, Sage, and Carmen along with Tamera and Chloe) my locker.

"You look awesome, what's the plan for Ashley and Maria?" Sage asks.

"We don't know but we have to make her pay. This is step one." Tamera says with a grin.

"See you guys at lunch, hopefully this goes well." We part ways except for me, Brooklyn, Sage, and Carmen.

On our way to Ms. Adams class Justin stops me.

"So my sister was suppose to go to the Rihanna concert tonight but her boyfriend canceled and she gave my the tickets. You maybe wanna go, like on a date...?"

I smiled. "Of course, I love Rihanna." I answered trying not to scream because of how enthused I was.

"Ok I'll pick you up at 6:30 tonight."

I nodded and Justin smiled before kissing me on the cheek and walking away which earned a look from Maria.

I blushed and continued walking to class while my friends trailed behind me smiling.

"Step 2 completed." Brooklyn said to Chloe.

We all sat down in our desks next to each other. Justin walked in a few minutes later and sat behind me.

Ashley and Maria scoffed. I glanced at Ashley and saw her badly cut lip and bruised arm, jaw, and cheek. I couldn't help but laugh softly.

Ms. Adams reminded us about our assignment after taking roll and we continued working. PE was boring, and Art we took a test about France's Art History Treasures. Soon lunch rolled around and the group met back up and we talked about the weekend plans. Justin joined and sat by me at lunch and we talked. He let me sit in his lap and we took selfies on his phone which I made die while playing color switch.

The rest of the day went by pretty easy without any problems from Maria or Ashley. I guess her lip hurts to much to speak. I can't wait until tonight with Justin.

Right now I'm by my locker about to leave when someone comes up to me.

"Hey Summer." Nick says.

"Hey what's up?" I asked while shutting my locker.

"Do you maybe want to hang out tonight, we could work on homework or go to a movie or whatever you want to do?" He asked.

I looked down. "I have plans tonight, I'm sorry."

"With who?" He asked trying not to show emotions.

"Justin."

Nick laughed and rolled his eyes. "Good luck." With that he walked away.

What does he mean by good luck.

I didn't worry about it and went home after stopping by Burger King.
