   "Foolish..."

"..Died.."

".....Insolent girl.."

I jerked upwards, a string of pain shooting within me.

"Don't move you idiotic fool, you're still recovering. In fact if it weren't for me you'd be dead." an all too familiar voice spat.

I moved the blonde hair covering my eyes to see Severus glaring down at me. His eyes were so glossy I could actually see my reflection in them.

My scars..

"Your illuso charm died when you passed out." he informed. I stared blankly up at him, expecting him to mock me. Instead he turned away and continued to brew a potion.

I watched his movements intently, noticing how graceful he was.

I mentally slapped myself. Well he was the potions' master after all..

Seconds later he handed me a vial full of a purple elixir.

"Drink." Severus commanded. I sniffed the potion, shrugging as I smelt the cinnamon before downing it.

I nearly vomited! It tasted like garbage!

"There, your wounds shall heal, right to Gryffindor tower and straight to bed. Get out of my sight." he spat.

I stared at him for a moment, watching as he scowled down at me, waiting for me to hurry up and leave.

"Thank you." I replied softly, then without hesitance I strided out of the room, looking back only to see him staring in the place I was sitting with a look of shock.

Hm, strange..

_____

The next day I was walking with the Weasley twins and Vince to supper when I heard a distant cry of pain, the sound so familiar but unfamiliar at the same time.

Scowling, I looked up at the twins. "Look after Vince for me, I'll meet you in the Great Hall." I muttered, turning on my heel I shifted, sprinting off in the direction of the cry.

And there he was, Draco Malfoy and a group of followers behind him as he stood, smirking down at a cowering boy.

A ferocious growl ripped through me as I saw a trickle of blood come from his nose, the look of fear present in his eyes.

I launched myself forwards, flying over the boy and straight into Malfoy.

I shifted just as we colided, causing him and I to slam into the wall, my hand gripping the front of his shirt.

"Oh lookie here, another 'brave' Gryffindor! Come to save Longbottom are we?" a dark-skinned boy mocked. I turned my eyes on him with a harsh glare, bearing my teeth at him.

He flinched away at merely my gaze.

I slowly turned my head to glare at Malfoy.

"Harming an innocent boy? Sad isn't it? Having to bully someone for kicks." I threw him on his back. I stood at his feet, glaring at him through my hair which was partially covered by my cloak.

"Perhaps you should take up knitting, it'd be more productive." I spat. "Get out of my sight."

He must have saw something when he looked at me because within an instant he had scurried away with a look of fear in his eyes.

I turned my gaze on the boy, a Gryffindor by the looks of it. I noticed his nose was broken as well.

With a silent sigh I crouched down beside him, taking out my wand I pointed it at his nose.

"Episkey."

His nose cracked back in place, causing a soft cry of pain to come from his mouth. I flinched slightly at the sound.

I used the sleeve of my cloak to clean the blood below his nose, when I was finished I brushed the hair from my eyes, offering him a rare smile.

He froze.

"Is that a scar?"

My lips parted ever so slightly, I abruptly stood, under my breath I blurted out a very helpful spell.

The familar sense of being twisted and pulled jolted through me, a slight pain which I ignored.

And then I began to fall. From what I had seen I had teleported a mile from where I was, which happened to be near a hill.

As I hit the ground my wand was released from my tight grasp as I tumbled and rolled. I gasped in pain, shifting into my wolf's form even as I rolled.

Finally I slowed to a stop, I felt blood trickling from my muzzle. I had stopped right on the edge of the Black Lake.

A scream erupted from top of the hill, foot falls came running down the hill where I lay limp, the energy slowly draining from me as my eyes closed, I could feel my consciousness slowly slipping away.

"Oh god is she dead!?" a male voice panicked.

"I doubt it Ronald! She just fell!" a female voice shrieked. "Hey- isn't that the Animagus form of the new girl?" the girl's voice spoke again.

"Yeah, Piper Grace I think." a new voice murmured. "How do you think we can get her to shift back? We have to take her to Madam Promfrey."

At that I panicked, struggling to stay awake. If they got me to shift back they'd see my scars..

And with that I weakly opened my eyes. Revealing a pair of silver iris'

"She's awake?" the voice was in confusion. My vision was slightly hazy, but I could still make out the shapes.

Slowly I stood on shaky legs, like a new born Thresral just standing. And then I ran blindly into the Forbidden Forest.
