Prologue
"Avada Kadavra!"
A green light shot straight towards me, blinding me momentarily before I could see the sickening, and cynical smile of my mother.
Her golden eyes glinting evilly.
"We'll see you again Piper, and next time, you won't make it out alive." she laughed, a cackling sound that had me jerking upwards while I screamed.
"Piper!" Vincent grabbed onto my shoulders and shook me, causing my screams to dwindle. "Oh Merlin, sorry Twin." I shook my head, offering a small smile.
His worried gaze increased as he collected me in a tight hug.
"You're safe Piper, you're safe." he soothed, pushing my blonde hair back from my sweaty forehead.
Yeah safe.. For now at least.
