I jumped awake, finding I was restrained to the bed moments later. My eyes travelled from the arms wrapped around my waist to George's sleeping face.
I didn't entirely stop my hand as it automatically reached forward, brushing some the Gryffindor's hair from his face.
I was going soft wasn't I?
I pulled myself away from his arms, wrapping my own around me as a substitute as I stood. I felt dejected, I felt lost..
I took a pair of jeans and a long sleeved shirt into the washroom, changing in there after my morning shower. I was too afraid George may wake up whilst I was changing.
Silently I pulled myself from the washroom, opening the door just as George rolled in bed. I went and sat beside him, waiting for him to wake up.
"Piper?" he murmured sleepily. "Good morning, George." I mumbled, keeping my back to him. I felt the bed shift as he sat up.
"It's morning?" he drawled groggily. "Yes, around eight." I murmured quietly, my voice sounding far away. I heard him yawn, causing me to smile at how he was not a morning person, unlike me.
"Piper?" he asked again, this time more awake. I turned towards him, tilting my head up so I could look him in the eyes. "Yes?"
He shifted so he was propped up on his elbow, looking nervous. "I was wondering.." he trailed off, lowering his eyes. "If you wanted to spend Christmas holidays with my family and I?" he blurted out. "Oh and Vince too of course. You don't have to come, I- I was just wondering-" "Sure." I cut him off, smiling in amusement at his nervousness.
I sighed then, just wanting to lay in bed all day. I laid on the bed properly, placing my arms below my head as I enjoyed the feeling of the sun beating down on my face and closed eyes from the window.
I felt the bed shift once more as George laid down beside me, curling his arms around me below my chest as he pulled me against him.
We lay like that for a long time, just in peace, no care in the world.

"As you realize this will be our last D.A. meeting until after the holidays.-" Groans of disappointment echoed through the room. "Now I want you all to practice hard. Meeting is over."
Slowly people began to leave, wishing each other and mostly Harry a Happy Christmas.
I watched as the twins chatted with Harry as he tried to move towards Cho Chang. Smiling in amusement I went to retrieve the twins, allowing Harry to be free for a moment.
"Come on boys, butter-bear on me. Happy Christmas Harry, you're welcome to join us." I offered, my gaze flickering to Cho Chang. "I'm no thanks, I'll pass. But happy Christmas." I smiled as he waved, pulling the twins along with me.
"Blimey woman, what was with dragging us away?" Fred complained. I sighed. "You must be blind, Harry wanted to talk to Cho Chang!" I sighed in impatience. "Oh? Harry's new girlfriend, eh?" I said nothing in reply, allowing them to chatter about it.
I walked ahead of them as they chattered, but a few minutes later they jogged up beside me. "So Georgie tells me you're going to be spending the holidays with us?" Fred clearified. "Yeah, I hope that's not a problem-" I cut myself off as I ran into someone.
"Oh sorry- Oliver?" I frowned in confusion. He looked up, his eyes brightening as he saw me, though there was some confusion. "Piper?"
I broke out in a small smile. I practically tackled him in a hug as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Blimey Wood! What're you doing here?" I squeaked in excitement. "Visitin' old Dumbledore, y'know, for old kicks."
I smiled and nodded, drawing my arms back from around his neck. Though he still held me by the waist, smiling excitedly. "My, you've grown since I've last seen you." he grinned before releasing me.
Two unsioned coughs pulled us out of our reverie. "How do you know each other?" Fred questioned as George approached me, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind as he rested his chin atop of my head. "Yes, do tell." George boasted.
I furrowed my brows at the intimacy of his movements, but otherwise ignored it. "Our Grandmas' are best friends, we met over the summer when I went to visit my grandparents." I shrugged.
I was esastic to see Oliver, seeing as I haven't spoken to him in years. "Interesting, but we must go, come along Fred." George took my head and tried to drag me off.
"Where you heading off to?" Oliver questioned. "To the pub, for some butter-beers, you're welcome to join us." I smiled. "Nah, best be gettin' to Dumbledore. Nice seeing you again Piper, we have to talk again." I nodded, giving him an awkward one-armed hug seeing as George was still holding my hand.
"Bye Oliver." I called out as George dragged me away.
___
"What's wrong George? What was so important that couldn't I chat with an old friend." I questioned. Vince had joined us seconds before. George hesitated briefly before continuing. "Jealousy, alright? I was jealous that you were so excited to see him." George admitted, scowling as Fred snorted in hilarity.
"There's nothing to be jealous of." I muttered. I kept out the fact that he wasn't even my boyfriend so I shouldn't care that he's jealous. "Well, it's past now, we outta down some booze in celebration." Fred dismissed. "Celebration of what?" I mused. "To celebrate you and Vince becoming an honorary Weasley for the break!" he cheered, grabbing my other hand and pulling me towards the pub with Vince following behind an amused expression placed on the blonde's face.
Why do I have a feeling that this is going to lead up to something bad?
Oh yeah, it's because they're the Weasley twins..
