《Third person pov》
A small group of young orphans ran through the streets. They passed by several adults, all dead. One of the girls in the group stopped when she spotted a shop owner walking toward her. The man then puked out blood then collapsed. She stepped back then followed the rest of the group. As the children were running back to their orphanage, and announcement came on. "This is a warning. Due to the foolish humans, a deadly virus has spread. Unfortunately, the human race will vanish." A voice said.
The young children ran up the stairs. They hurried into a room. A young girl stood next to a woman on the ground. She looked at a blonde boy, who rushed over to her. "Mika, the director has..." She started to say. Mika looked at the dark haired boy. "Yuu, Keiko, look after everyone! Director, director! " He said, looking at the woman.
Then there was a sound behind the door on the stairs. One of the children called for Yuu. The announcement came on again. "However, we know that the virus doesn't affect children thirteen and younger. Therefore, we, the direct unit of the Third Progenitor, Krul Tepes, will start the 'protection' of the children of this district. "
There was a man in a cloak behind the window. He moved his hand forward and the glass broke. Yuu fell to the ground. The rest of the children huddled near him and Mika, afraid. The door opened and a man in the same cloak walked in. They were put on a truck with several other children.
Four Years Later
In a city away from the world of humans, children were all waiting in lines. Vampires watched the children, making sure they didn't escape. The children waited in line as each of the children told the vampire their name. Mikaela, Yuichiro, and Keiko Hyakuya left the lines to get their blood taken.
When they left, they were feeling drowsy and were each holding a plastic bag filled with a pink liquid. Mika immediately drank his but Yuu crushed his bag. Keiko said. "You're not gonna drink it again? You'll get sick."
He sat with them. "I can't drink this disgusting crap!" Mika sighed. "Because you're such a gourmet." He said.
Yuu looked away from him. "You stop doing whatever they say, too."
Mika got on his feet. "I don't think it's that bad."
Yuu and Keiko looked at him. "Seriously?" Said Yuu.
"We won't be killed here and more importantly, we can be with our family." Mika said. He threw away the empty plastic bag. "Isn't that enough? " Keiko nodded in agreement. "I'm not their livestock."Yuu said.
Mika groaned. "Ugh, you know, being stubborn won't help at all-" Yuu threw his bag at him. He dodged and it landed on a drawing on the floor drawn by two little kids, who were still drawing. The two kids were drawing in front of an entrance where two vampire came from.
Keiko got up. "Hey!" She shouted at the children. The boy looked up and he noticed the vampires. The vampires completely ignored them and stepped on their hands. The children grabbed their hands as the vampires passed them.
Yuu ran past Mika to the two vampires. "Yuu, don't!" Mika shouted. Yuu ignored him and hit one of the vampires. The vampire picked him up. "Apologize." Yuu said angrily at him. He said it again.
"Um I'm sorry! He's really stupid and his head's not right." Mika said, trying to get Yuu out of trouble. Keiko tried to help. "Please forgive him."
"Stop it Mika! I'm gonna kick his-" He protested but stopped when the vampire carried him over the streets. The vampire was about to punch him when there was a voice. "Hello." It said. They all turned around.
