Ch. 2 Demon Weapons

I had come to school with Shinoa that morning. We saw Yuu on the roof after getting a love letter from a girl. We went down to greet him. He was looking at me strangely. Guren had made me put on one of those demon fox masks. I had also kept my hood on too.

"My my, as expected, Mr. Hero who saved the school from the vampire is popular with the girls. "Shinoa said and walked down the stairs. I followed her.

"Are you going to break her heart next?" She questioned him. He started protesting. "What do you mean next? I haven't done anything like that. And who is that?" He asked, looking at me.

"This is the friend I was talking with yesterday. Her name is-" Shinoa almost said my name but I stopped her. "Tsuki. My name is Tsuki." That was the name Guren said I had to use starting yesterday after the vampire attack. I didn't know why but I used it anyway.

He looked at me suspiciously. "What's with the mask?" Wow, rude much? I didn't say it out loud though. Shinoa said. "She's really shy."

He shrugged. "Wearing that silly mask is only going to bring more attention to yourself." What a brat! I didn't say that out loud either.

"Anyway, can I ask you a question?" He asked her. "My talent was recognized from that incident with the vampire and I was added to the Vampire Extermination Unit. Why am I still going to this highschool? "

I got bored so I sat down and listened. I then started paying attention when she took out her demon weapon in it's pen like form. "The training that'll allow you to obtain what you truly want. "Shinoa was saying before her demon appeared. "This is the demon I have a contract with, Shikama Doji."

I fingered my own weapon in it's small form. It was a small silver moon I kept on a necklace. I looked up when the demon spit out her weapon, a scythe. It was on fire. She held it up in front of Yuu. "I wanted you to see this."

"This is the Cursed Gear that can kill vampires with it's curse." He said and reached forward to touch it. She backed away. "I am, after all, one of the members of the Vampire Extermination Unit. Tsuki, show him your Cursed Gear!" She shouted at me.

I smiled but they couldn't see it. I took off my necklace then held it in my hand. Blue and white flames appeared around its edges then the moon charm dissapeared in flames. Above me, a demon similar to a silver wolf appeared. "Shirubā Yuki, also known as the Silver Demon. " I said proudly.

The demon transformed into my weapon, twin swords. Yuu stared at it. "If I get my hands on one of those, I can start killing vampires on my own." He said.

Shinoa sighed. "You can't kill them on your own. You need to start learning what teamwork-" He cut her off. "Tsuki." He said, turning to me. "Gimme that."

I tilted my head to the side like a confused kitten. "I'm gonna take that and go get my revenge on the vampires." He said, taking out his sword.

Shinoa and I laughed. "You can't use the Cursed Gear of a demon that another person has contracted with." I said. "Then show me the power of the gear." He shouted and ran towards me.

"Geez." I heard Shinoa say. I kept keeping him back. He couldn't get close to me. Every time our blades met, blue and white flecks of flame came from my Cursed Gear. "Not bad. But you can't fight Cursed Gear with a normal weapon. " I said.

I slashed my sword but he ducked. I threw one of my swords at Yuu. "Yuki." I said before I threw the sword. The tip of the sword was burning blue flames. As it got closer to Yuu, the sword was complete engulfed in flames. The flames changed into a wolf that dissapeared when it reached Yuu.

It pushed him against the fence around the school roof. It left a huge dent in the fence. Yuu chuckled nervously. "That's seriously awesome." I grinned. The sword I threw landed at my feet. I picked it up then my swords changed back into a moon necklace.
