Ch. 7 Attack

《Third person pov》
In Shinjuku, rows of archers pointed at their targets, the helicopters holding vampires. Some of the helicopters were blown up. An airplane holding vampires headed straight for the wall. A dark purple haired vampire was driving the plane. A dark haired vampire sitting next to him turned around, looking at the bombs.

The archers stared in shock as they tried to get away from the plane's target. The plane crashed into the wall, blowing up a hole. The blow caused smoke to rise. The two vampires came out from the debris caused by the bomb.

"Pretty good, huh? Right on the dot!" The purple haired vampire said. The darker haired vampire had bags under his eyes. He stared at the other vampire with a grim face. "That's nothing to brag about. You were off by ten feet to the right." He said.

The other vampire just smiled. "You're so anal." He walled down the rubble as several common vampires ran out from the debris behind them.

As the Shinoa Squad ran into Shinjuku to help out, an announcement came on. "The vampire attack is still continuing. Civilians should quickly evacuate to the east defensive barrier." The announcement repeated the words again.

"What's going on?" Yuu asked. Keiko stared at him. "It's exactly what they're saying. The vampires are attacking-" She started. The group stopped when they noticed a missile fly into a building, blowing up a hole into it.

A helicopter flew past it and shot a missile headed straight for the squad. The group jumped down from where they were standing and covered their faces. "Damn it, this is absolutely war." Yuu said. "Just like what Lieutenant Colonel Guren said. The vampires plan to destroy the Japanese Imperial Demon Army." Mitsuba said.

Yoichi and Sora noticed the archers in a tower, right next to the helicopter. The archers fired their arrows at the helicopter. "Are those the same Cursed Gear as mine?" Yoichi asked. "A downgraded version." Shinoa replied. "They're Enchanted Gears, a simplified version of Cursed Gears." Mitsuba added.

Yuu suddenly yelled out. A helicopter had noticed them and was now shooting at them. "Let's go!" Keiko shouted. Keiko led the team as they escaped the bullets from the helicopter. Vampires jumped out of the flying vehicle.

"Everyone, prepare to fight!" A soldier of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army shouted. The others came out of their hiding spot. "We're going too!" Mitsuba shouted as the three girls of the squad transformed their weapons.

They engaged into battle. As Mitsuba was cutting off the heads of vampires with her battle axe, she used her Cursed Gear to block the bullets coming drop a helicopter. "Yoichi, get the chopper!" She ordered.

He immediately notched an arrow but before he could fire, two vampires came for him. Shinoa took down both of them. He fired the arrow and hit the chopper.

Sora had vampires around him. He swung the chained scythe and cut through the the vampires. A vampire came up from behind him. Keiko threw one of her swords at the vampire and killed him. Sora smiled at her as she ran towards him to get her sword. "We're done here!" She called out.

A man with glasses came up to them. "Thank you for helping. I appreciate it. I'm Corporal Nagai of the Shinjuku Security Unit's Third Platoon. You guys are the Vampire Extermination Unit, right?" He asked them.

"We're the Moon Demon Company." Keiko replied. "The Moon Demon Company? It appears our luck hasn't run out yet. Guys, go get it ready." Nagai told the two soldiers behind him. They obeyed and left.

The Shinoa Squad and Nagai arrived at a camp in Shinjuku. "The vampires got through the west defensive barrier just now. The counter attack squad is holding off right now, but they won't last long." He informed them.
